I take a step to the man who sits there trembling at the face of the monster that stares down at him. When in look into his eyes, I see the same look I’ve seen a thousand times. It takes me back to when I was standing in the front line. It was the heat of August, and my whole group had been taken down, and I was all that was left. I knew I had to take a chance, so I drew in my power, much as I did this time, and stood there alone. As the army approached me, I see that the generals are trembling. But worst is the scared look on the enemy's face.
“Don’t be so shallow; I don’t want to do this, fighting like an animal,” I say with a sad heart.
