After leaving the baby store, Mingyoo was laughing in a rather eerie manner. Wenjay was genuinely concerned that Mingyoo might just burst out laughing in the middle of the street. Thankfully, Mingyoo regained his composure before they got into the car.
"Should I drop you off at Maplewood Farm first?" Wenjay checked the time, thinking they could make it if they hurried.
"No need. You can take the car," Mingyoo generously offered. "I'll just call a ride."
"I'll call it for you," Wenjay said, feeling a bit embarrassed. After all, it was Mingyoo's car. It wouldn't be right to let the boss call his own ride.
"My legs hurt. I don't feel like driving," Mingyoo suddenly said, acting a bit spoiled, as if the person who energetically climbed four floors yesterday wasn't him.
Grateful for his boss's consideration, Wenjay helped Mingyoo get a ride and then drove to the agreed-upon location.
