Chaper 14

Rhoda got closer to where Bismark was standing, Bismark gave her a kiss on the cheek and asked if she was ready, Rhoda looked at her outfit and asked time the date was, Bismark told her it was 7pm , Rhoda checked the time and realised she had just 50mins to get home and put on a nice outfit, Bismark knew what she was thinking so he told her he had figured she would need an outfit so he bought her a dress, Rhoda was secretly grateful Bismark bought the dress because to be honest she didn't think she had any nice dress suitable for a date at the moment, all her clothes were ones she wore to work ,as a fashion designer people might think she had a lot of dresses but no Rhoda was different, she had nice clothes though but only suitable for work. Bismark opened the door for Rhoda to get in as he also sat in his seat, he quickly drove to Rhoda's house so she could freshen up and dress for their date, he sat in the living room to wait for her as she ascended the stairs. Rhoda got to her room and took a bath then put on the black strapless dress and looked herself in the mirror she smiled knowing she looked good but the smile faded when she realised she was going on her first date with a man she loved only as a friend, she checked the time and realised it was almost 7pm so she fixed her herself and put on just mascara and lip gloss, she didn't really like make-up or didn't even know to do it on herself, she took a last look in the mirror and proceeded to the hall, as she descended the stairs Bismark's eyes were fixed on her , not even blinking.

You look gorgeous, Bismark said as she got closer.

Thank you she replied with a genuine smile. They both were ready so they left in Bismark's car, while driving Rhoda asked where they were going but Bismark said it was a surprise so Rhoda relaxed hoping for it to be just a small Diner and won't last long. She later realised they were going in the direction of her office, she was confused because there weren't many restaurants around except they were going to........ No she told herself and shrugged it off.

After 25mins of driving they arrived at Derrick's restaurant, she was so nervous, she knew there was no way Bismark's could know this was Derrick's so he asked him why he chose the restaurant.

Oh actually Olive suggested it she said they had great meals and you have been here before so I figured you would love it, Bismark explained.

Rhoda was now sure he didn't know Derrick owned it but what made her nervous was running into Derrick or Angela, she went inside with Bismark and sat at their reserved table, Bismark kept blabbering about something but her mind wasn't there she just nodded when necessary, Bismark noticed it and asked if she was dissatisfied with the food or uncomfortable.

Urmm.... sorry I just have a slight headache Rhoda lied.

Bismark didn't want to stress her knowing she probably worked a lot today, he told her if she wanted to go home which she quickly said yes to. Bismark was a little disappointed their date didn't go as planned but he kept his gentlemen composure, Rhoda avoided his gaze knowing he probably look disappointed, she just wanted to leave the restaurant, the thought of Derrick appearing there kept lingering in her head. Bismark paid the bill and left the restaurant, Rhoda noticed he was very sad so she suggested they stop at an icecream shop, they both went inside and bought icecream, Rhoda insisted they eat it inside, she wanted to have a little friendly time with her bestfriend, they talked about lot of fun stuffs and laughed a lot, it was there that Rhoda recognised her bestfriend, she saw the young Bismark who laughed a lot opposite her, she smiled knowing this was the Bismark she loved, she stood up from her seat and hugged him, Bismark didn't understand what was going on but hugged her back, they both were now satisfied with their "date". Rhoda asked if he could drop her at Dina's house , he asked why but she said she just had wanted to have a sleepover, Bismark wasn't convinced with her answer but dropped her anyways, Rhoda gave him one last hug when they got there.

I had a good time, Rhoda told him.

I did too , I hoped we could do this more often and maybe we could go on a double date with Olive and Bernard next time, Bismark suggested.

Ohk Rhoda nodded, he waited for her to go inside before he left with smiles on his face, their date definitely was the worst one ever but Bismark was happy Rhoda didn't end it at the restaurant, and was mostly happy about the hug, he drove home with giggles all over his face.

Rhoda entered Dina's house and found all the lights off, Dina might be asleep she thought to herself, she proceeded to find the light and switch it back on so she could find her way around, after switching on the lights she heard some movement so she turned to see if it was Dina but the sight infront of her nearly made her collapse, she was so shocked and confused, she thought she was dreaming so she closed her eyes and opened it again but he was still there, he was sitting lazily on the couch not caring to even stand up and explain himself.

What are you doing in here, Rhoda shouted, it's almost 9pm and where is Dina, how did you even get in here, did you break in, who let you in and what do you want here.

He smiled and stood up to where Rhoda was standing, instead of answering the questions he pulled her close and pressed his lips firmly on her lips, Rhoda tried pushing him but he was too strong, she then gave in to enjoy the kiss, it wasn't a gentle kiss but a very rough passionate one, they kissed as if their life depended on it till they were both out of breath, he released Rhoda and said "I REALLY DO LOVE YOU AND I KNOW YOU DO TO SO DON'T YOU EVER PUSH ME AWAY AGAIN."
