Maybe he had never wanted anything in the first place.

The sound of the bell ringing brought him back to reality, making him jump out of his thoughts. Turning around to see who was entering he gasped when he saw that it was none other than Keith. Lance quickly pushed the rest of his thoughts aside and quickly ran over to him as he approached the checkout line. He quickly grabbed the items from the shelf where the cashier had placed them before heading over to join Keith by the counter. Maybe he had never wanted anything in the first place.

Lance ignored Keith's silent questioning as he turned around and handed the cashier the money he needed to pay for it.

"Hey uh.. Can we talk a second? In private?" Lance whispered nervously, glancing at Keith and immediately regretting it when he saw the frown that immediately settled across his lips.
