All he wanted was to be back home. He didn't know where he was going anymore, or if he could even get back home. All he knew was that wherever he ended up he would be surrounded by enemies, and there was no doubt that he would end up dying. He was going to die. He would never see his parents again and all that he ever cared about were destroyed forever.

He wanted to scream, yell, beg to be let off but he couldn't. He couldn't open his mouth, he could barely breathe let alone shout out in pain. Why was he such an idiot to think he could live through a war? Why was he the stupid one? He should have stayed in the castle.

How could they possibly cope with losing their only child? They had lost so much already without losing another one. He didn't even consider asking them to help him escape from space until he saw that explosion at the base and heard the screams that filled the planet.
