A quest from Jude Heartfilia,

You can see a nineteen-year-old woman running through the streets of Magnolia. Her bewitching blue eyes and white hair, like angel wings, shimmer in the sunlight as she heads toward the Phantom Lord guild.

Arriving at the guild, I go straight to Master Jose's office. I knock on the door, and a voice tells me to enter. As I step inside, I see the four Elemental Four gathered—Juvia, Aria, Totomaru, and Sol—as well as Gadjeel.

"There you are, Jade. We were waiting for you to launch the plan of attack against Fairy Tail," says Jose with a big smile on his face.

I say nothing and go sit in an empty chair.

"Well, you all know why you're gathered here today. We've received a quest from Jude Heartfilia, asking us to bring back his daughter for a large sum of money. But for now, we are not going to take the girl right away. First, we are going to provoke them, and that's where you come in, Gadjeel."

"And what do you want me to do, Master Jose?" Gadjeel asks excitedly.

"I want you to go and destroy their guild while they're away."

"Yeah, well, a little action. Don't worry, I'll do it, no problem."

"That's all for now. You can all leave, except Jade."

The others leave, and I'm alone with Master Jose.

"So, what did you want to talk to me about, Master?"

"I know you don't like the idea of attacking Fairy Tail, but when we become the most powerful guild in Fiore again, I'm sure you'll change your mind."

"I'm sorry, Master, but I don't want to get involved in this."

"I knew you'd say that, but I'm sure you won't do anything to stop us either, will you, Jade?"

"You're right, I won't do anything to stop you. But when the guild is disbanded because of your decision, don't say I didn't warn you."

"Don't worry. The guild won't be dissolved; we will win, even if you don't participate."

"If that's all you had to say to me, can I leave now?"

"Yes, you can leave. That's all I wanted to say."

I leave his office and head to the guild hall, where I meet Juvia and Gadjeel.

"What did you and Master Jose talk about?" Gadjeel asks curiously.

"Nothing special. I just said I didn't want to get involved in the attack on Fairy Tail."

"Come on, Jade. You're not funny. Don't you ever want to know if Fairy Tail really deserves its place at the top? Plus, I could fight a lot of powerful people."

"No, I don't care who's stronger. But I can't help it; it's the Master's decision. What about you, Juvia? What do you think?"

"Well, Juvia thinks Gadjeel is right. Juvia also wants to see how strong Fairy Tail is."

"See? Even Juvia thinks like me."

"Yeah, but there are still a lot of strong people in Fairy Tail. For example, Laxus or Erza."

"I'm sure we can defeat them easily," Gadjeel says confidently.

"I don't think so. I'm sure they'll crush you without any problem."

Juvia leaves, and Gadjeel and I are alone. For the rest of the day, we keep arguing about who is stronger. Eventually, I say goodbye to Gadjeel, go home, shower, eat, and go to bed.

"It seems that the Phantom Lord guild will soon be disbanded, and that's good. I won't have to see Jose's face anymore. But it shows me that time flies, and soon we'll have many more powerful enemies in the future."
