Chapter : 36 Calm before the storm

[Next Day]

(MC POV)

I am the first to reach school today. The thing with Hagakure was kinda bothering me, not gonna lie.

'Will she be mad?' Of course she would be mad.

"You're early today, just as expected from the Class President!!" Ida came in not long after..

"Morning.." I just wished him lazily..

The others also quickly came in but Hagakure was nowhere to be found..'Weird, she is usualy the early one..'

I waited and waited and waited...Until only 5 minutes left before the school starts she bolts inside the classroom.

"Sorry, I am super late guys!!" She exclaimed as she came in. "No worries, you are just on time." came Momo's reply.

Then she looked towards me and wave her invisible hand. I put powers in my eye and look at her.

A pretty face as always but her hair was not as messy as usual. It was still messy and curly but it seems more..refined? Like it was combed.

'Was she late because she works on her appearance since she knows I can see her?' She would do the same if the one who can see her was not me but...thats really sweet.

"Morning Bakugo." She walk towards me with a smile on her face. She also seem to notice that I can see her.

"Not shy about being seen?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

She blushed and twirled her hair in her fingers, "Well..you said I am pretty right? I will take your words on it." she said shyly.

..

How bold...but..

Damn she's cute though. "Well, I'm happy you got comfortable." I replied with a shrug. Not showing my thought on the surface.

*Ring!!* "Settle down guys, homeroom is starting." Aizawa sensei suddenly appeared and Hagakure went to her seat.

School began as usual, Hagakure sent me some glace often times and when we made eye contact, she would blush a bit and quickly turn around.

'Hmm..she probably isn't used to someone noticing when she glace at them.' I mean, if she just moved her neck, nobody would be able to tell where she was looking.

But it was nice seeing her so bashful.

[Afternoon]

(MC POV)

"Okay class, for today's basic training me, All Might and one other will supervise it." Aizawa sensei announced.

The morning passed by as usual, other than me and Hagakure talking during lunch, everything else was normal.

She was curious about the details of how she looked like. I told her in detail and also gave some reference by using other peoples picture.

Thankfully, she did not bring up the fact that I probably saw her naked body. So that was good.

But she seems happy though. She had a wide smile all throughout our talk. Her smile really was contagious.

But sadly, the break ended and now, we were about to start the afternoon class.

Meaning hero training time!!

"Three teacher supervising us? Sir is this a special class!!" Ida stood up and ask. "What exactly are we doing today?"

"Preparing you guys for disaster relief. This time it will be a 'Rescue Training'." Azawa sensei pulled out papers about the details of the training.

Ida and Momo went and took the papers and distribute it to all the students.

"Floods, Fire, Earthquake training, How to react blah blah blah..." I read the things written with half my mind.

"..the training will take place in USJ, 5 km from the school." That definitely caught my attention. I had a very bad feeling about this.

I delve into my mind and thought of why I felt that way. 'USJ...where have I heard that before'..

Outside of school...

"Wait don't tell me.." I muttered with some panic and excitement weirdly mixed in my voice.

USJ..its the villain attack!! If I remember correctly, All Might barely won the fight with a Nomu there.

..

Wait...am I screwed?

..

Fuck!! Why do I not see this comming!!

I knew that the villain attack happened early on but I did not think it would be this early..

.

I should have realised this from the incident yesterday.

..

"Haa.." I sighed.."Why am I panicking..Isn't this the sole reason why I came here? I prepared for this..the whole point of my training was because of this."

Yeah..I fully expected this from the moment I started training. There is no reason to panic, in fact, I should only be excited!!

Its just..it suddenly kind of happened and it caught me off guaed.

'Well, lets think about the situation carefully'

I remember that All Might had a tough fight with the Nomu but that was mostly because he was already at the time limit..So, the Nomu was definitely not stronger than All Might.

But this time, All Might gave away One for All 10 months earlier to Midoriya..So he must be weaker than cannon.

He did not have to go beyond his limit fighting the sludge villain...but I predict that he must be slightly weaker than he was during cannon.

But to balance that out, I am WAY stronger than my cannon counterpart so All Might getting weaker shouldn't be a problem.

In fact, I think I might be able to beat the Nomu..

But...

"Sir, Is it a good idea to get away from the campus?" I asked as I stood up from my seat.

"What do you mean Bakugo?" Aizawa sensei asked with raised eyebrow.

"Someone broke inside UA yesterday, So I was wondering if it would be safe for us students to go outside the school, in case of a villain attack." I said firmly.

"It was the Press that break in yesterday, I thought you know that?" He said, his tone a little serious.

"The Press manage to break in the security of UA?" I persisted.

"If you are worried about your safety, All Might himself is going to be there with you. The villains would need to be crazy to attack."

'Exactly, those motherfuckers are bat shit crazy!!'

"Can you guarantee that All Might would be present." I asked again.

"You need not worry about your safety Bakugo, All Might and I would be there. We will take care of it" This time his tone carried some authority.

"Tch." I click my tongue, and sat down with a pissed off face.

Well, even if that made them slightly on guard it would be worth it.

Everything would turn out fine, I am stronger now. I will be able to take care of myself.

'Its the other students that I am worried about' I thought to myself while looking at Hagakure, Momo, Midoriya and Ochako.

Well, as they said "A danger foreseen is half avoided" Its no use worrying too much, thats not really helping.

When trouble comes, I will knock it away..Thats why I seek power, to knock away any trouble or danger that comes my way.

Anyways...lets just see how it goes.

"Moving on, you can wear your costumes if you want, its your choice." Aizawa sensei said as the wall of the classroom shifted and a locker was revealed.

"As the place is a little remote, we will be going using bus."

(3rd POV)

"Let the students enter according to their ID number" Bakugo told the two Vice Presidests.

The two immediately followed the orders and guided the students without a hassle.

But Bakugo was oddly quiet, which was noticed by Tooru and Midoriya.

All the students board the bus successfully and as they hit the road, the students have small talks.

They talk about quirks and saying something about how Midoriya's quirk was simliar to All Mights.

They even mentioned how Bakugo's and Todoroki's quirk were the best among the students but Bakugo did not give some arrogant remark about how his quirk was the best. And that raised few eyebrows among the students.

It was only a few days but the students have some idea of Bakugo's personality. So they know that something was bothering Bakugo.

He just sat in his seat, a serious look on his face as he looked out the window.

"Bakugo..Is something wrong?" The invisible girl asked. The question snapped Bakugo out of his thought as he looked around.

All the students eye were on him, curious on what seems to bother the strongest student.

"Its just..I have a really bad feeling about this whole thing." Bakugo said but it was more of a grumble.

"Like what? Are you worried about a villain attack as you mentioned?" Momo asked from the back.

"Something like that." Bakugo replied.

"You don't have to worry man, as Aizawa sensei said, other pro heroes are going to look over us!!" Kirishima exclaimed.

"Yes Bakugo, All Might is going to be there too!! He will punch away all those bad guys." Ochako said as he punch the air around to imitate All Might beating the villains.

'Haa...why are they always bringing that skeleton up.' he grumbled to myself.

Obviously its because they do not know All Might's real condition. If they did, they would not be so carefree...

The other stidents also tried to ease his worries but Bakugo just ignored them. He knows the truth, they were going to get attacked and he couldn't assure everyone's safety..

"Guys, if a villain realy did attack and beat you down. Never give up. Stand up and say 'You hit like a bitch'." Bakugo sagely advised..

The other students laughed at Bakugo's joke. His weird sense of humor really was a breath of fresh air.

"Hahahaha!!"

"Just be careful everyone. Try to stay close to each other." Bakugo just smirk and warned them with good heart.

"The world is cruel." he finished ominously

"We're here everyone. Look sharp" Aizawa annouced..

The students leave the bus with excitement, not knowing the danger, the evil they would have to face.

They would face the dark reality about being a hero. The dangers it brings.

And when they do, they would realise the truth Bakugo's word held....The curelty of the world.

On the bright side, I got some nice reviews and I spend today reading my old chapters..chapter 8,10 and stuff like that..

And I have to say..Danm I was good!! I wish I could erase my memory of writing and read my book!!! Hehehe

Anyways, in all honesty, I realised I need to read my old chapters from time to time..Looking back at how I protray my character and the details that I add..especially about the character and their powers..

.

Well, I could also see my improvement so that definitely a good motivator...

.

And its only been a month but seeing myself getting so hyped up in the Author's note after my book got 50k viewers felt like years..Now I have more than a million!!!
