The crushing pressure of mana appeared to flatten everybody nearby to the ground. That pressure wasn't lost on me either, but for some reason, I found myself able to stand despite the overwhelming force pushing down on my feet.
While that wasn't a problem, being able to cast the spell in the first place became a rather real issue.
Normally, I'd be pretty confident to cast a spell. But manipulating such volatile mana seemed nearly impossible at this point. In fact, I was just about zero percent confident I would be able to cast a spell like fireball.
But there was another spell, which wasn't really a spell in the first place, that I felt I had a chance at. It was the blackout spell. Unlike other spells, this was more of a feeling. Considering that was basically how I got here in the first place, it seemed fitting.
