CHAPTER TWENTY ONE

" Good night Miriam" Rachel said quickly, taking her bag on her shoulder and was about to walk outside when she was stopped by what Miriam asked.  

 " What excites you that you've been having that expression since lunchtime? '' Miriam asked jokingly.

 " What do you mean by my expression?? " Rachel was shocked with the question.

  " No offense,I mean your face is having this kind of joyful expression as if you won a lottery and it is unlike you, " Miriam said smiling .   " O…. K , don't worry you can't understand " she said and quickly got out.

 Miriam and Dustin pack their things , before leaving their office they both walk to the parking lot before standing beside Dustin's car.   "Let me take you home today please " since last month Miriam started working she always declined Dustin gentle gesture.

  " Ok " she said without thinking twice .  Dustin was shocked and surprised.  " What did you just say? " She took a few steps closer to her to hear her right , she smiled with his funny expression. " I said ok  , unlock your car so I will be able to get in or do you want me to get freeze with the cold weather " she pouted her mouth making fake frown , he quickly press unlock button from the small control his holding. 

 " Sorry my princess, please come in" he said after opening the car for her , making her smile with what he just said.

 There was an unexpected silence inside the car before Miriam clear her throat  to asked the question she has been longing to asked since she entered his car .

 " Dustin ,I remember that you've never come to my house before,so how do you know the way to my house??? " Miriam asked calmly 

   " Come to visit around your area and notice you going inside your house,I wanted to call you but you have opened the door and entered already " he said ,he actually stalks her to let her know her house and he doesn't want to spoil his reputation in front of her .

 " Ok then " Miriam said silently but it was enough for him to hear what she said.

 " Can I take you out, maybe on a dinner or lunch anyone you want I will comply to it"Dustin said before turning the steering wheel left making the car turn to Miriam street.

  " I'm sorry Dustin but I can't," she said anxiously, looking at pedicure hand .

  " Why ???" Dustin asked her, now parking at the front of her house .  " I…. Sorry I have to go" she said and opened the door to go out and stay in front of the door she just closed. " Thank you for the ride, we will see tomorrow " she said before turning and leaving, not waiting for his reply.

" Something is off with this girl and am curious to know " he assured before starting the car and leaving.

Miriam closes the blind immediately when she sees he has driven off ,she sits on the floor  , thinking of how her life was unlucky,how she was experiencing the misfortune life since while thinking of this she doesn't know when she slept off on the floor.

   " Hello Good Evening Sir " Rachel called Nazeem , she was sleeping on her stomach swinging her leg back and forth happily. " Who is this ??? " Nazeem asked formally.

 Rachel uses her left hand that is not holding the phone to touch her chest seductively thinking of his gentle voice.  " Who is this???" Nazeem asked again, now getting impatient because the person is not answering, she quickly answered before he ended the line .    " You don't need to know my name for now but the information I want to disclose to you" Rachel said smiling thinking of how she is going to have her beloved Nazeem.

 " Do I asked for any information , I asked your name but you are not willing to tell me so why disturbing me Information with the I don't asked from you " Nazeem asked impatiently . Nazeem noticed the other person at the other end was not saying anything again .  " Ok then have a nice…." Before he could complete his word he was interrupted by what she said .

 " It's about Miriam," she said calmly with confidence.  " Miriam ,what happened to her " Nazeem voice change to his always sweet voice , making Rachel feel irritated with her name that made Nazeem's voice turn sweetly with the mention of her name.

 " I will send you an audio of her and will send you how and when to contact me, have a nice day" she said strictly and sent the audio call of Miriam to Nazeem, before changing the Sim card she used and calling him.  

" I will be the one to have you My dear Nazeem" she said before turning off the lights of her room leaving the only white lamp beside her and sleeping.
