Lily

Lucas with every swing of his sword instantly killed a zombie, black blood taints his sword, rotting zombies lay dead on the bloodstained earth.

A zombie clawed at Lucas, but with a quick stabbing strike to it's stomach, it tumbled over to the earth, still alive, still clawing for human flesh.

CRASH!

And it froze, it's head badly punctured, Lucas lifts his feet then kicks, sending the zombie into the corner.

Lucas sighed, he had gotten a step stronger but no more, he discovered that he had used a special skill called 'Beginner's luck' on the sub-boss bat zombie, but after that he wasn't able to kill any other zombie in one strike.

Also he now had a passive skill called 'Defense of Paragons' which multiplied his defense by two.

With that kind of power those zombies which none were any higher than level ten were immediately killed.

Lucas smiled to himself, although he hadn't levelled up he had gained quite a number of experience points.

He stretched, looking over to the piles and heaps of undead, then, shook his head, the boss of this dungeon will be real pissed when he sees this.

----

Lucas could see the dungeon gate in the distance, it was still open, but if this dungeon isn't cleared quickly the gate will never close and the demons inside the dungeons might come to the surface.

He jogged over to the door, a smile across his face, he saw his backpack at the gate and in it contains the only gift from his father before he dissappeared.

"Surface."

----

"No! He was lost inside the dungeon! We tried to help him, but the twisters just kept coming from all sides!" Someone was yelling at the top of his voice in the guild counter.

Lucas shrugged to himself, but the voice sounded familiar to him, Lucas walked into the counter anyway.

"If he really was lost then why didn't you go back for him after your energies were restored?" The female receptionist, a blond beauty, replied casually.

"Because, we had..." The man glanced over in Lucas's direction as their eyes locked and the atmosphere around them tensed.

Lucas walked over to the second receptionist, a brunette on black with her eyes lowered to the computer screen before her.

"How much are these worth?" Lucas asked pushing the bag full of crystals to the lady's view.

The receptionist lifts her head, with her gaze fixed directly on Lucas, he felt the surprise behind her gaze.

"About forty to fifty dollars for a tier one crystal." She stated with a relaxed tone as she averts her gaze to the computer screen.

"Here." Lucas hands over the bag of crystals which were worth not less than five hundred dollars to the receptionist as he threw himself down on a chair.

"That's five hundred." The receptionist declared seemingly unfazed, she gracefully took the bag full of crystals, then, hands Lucas his money with a polite smile.

"Thanks."

----

Lucas frowned at the man who now stood before him, his eyes were steady, chin high as he let his energy flow out of him.

The man winced, with a face full of shock he took steps away from Lucas.

"You died, I-I saw you die." The man wasn't faking surprise as he stared at the boy who died before him.

"No, you didn't see me die," Lucas closed his eyes, a power no man could ever dream of getting lay dormant within him, his aura spread throughout the guild, "You were actually in a hurry to leave me alone in that dungeon."

The frightened man tried to stutter a reply, but Lucas was gone before he could even utter a word.

"I hope you never get to see this face again." Lucas calls out pointing at his face to put an image the man wouldn't stop seeing, "Farewell, William."

----

A little boy about fifteen years of age lay on his back on the lush green grass of the vast plains of the western Calvera.

The sky was plain blue, a cloudless day, the cool wind blowing softly against his tanned skin, his royal blue hairs and emerald eyes making him stand out from the rest of the great masters of the heavens.

He turned his face, his pointed ears gleaming in the light, his elongated canines revealed as he grins cheerfully.

"Master Kage, would you like for me to bring down your food?" A slender looking girl smiled at the said Kage, her eyes were green, curly blue hair tied back in a ponytail with her mouth corners curved up in a smile.

"No, Mistress Lily." Kage teased shaking vigorously as he attempts with sheer effort to contain his laughter.

"Pahahaha!" Lily burst out laughing, her eyes watery, elongated canines fully revealed as she threw her head back in laughter.

"What's funny?" Kage sat up, his head tilted to the side, a mask of confusion on his face.

"You are!" The blue haired girl laughed loudly enough to wake up the dead, after a minute of laughter she slowly stopped, her eyes watery, tears were even on her eye corners.

"Back to earth, what in the gods name has made my favorite sibling show up in my domain?" Kage inquires with a smile as he spread out his arms.

"Monsters had appeared again, the Ancient Dragon was nowhere to be seen, and-" All the amusement that once sparkled in her eyes disappeared leaving only death as she continued, "-The demon horde had found their way into the human realm.

"Oh gods, father will not be very pleased to hear this." Kage frowned, his eyes now dull, and head hung low as he pounders on the situation.

---

Lucas walked out of the guild, his pupils narrowed down to a slit as he scanned the area with predatory focus.

"Whoa, I had my stealth skill active, and you skill noticed me?" The voice came from behind Lucas.

Quick as the wind, Lucas spun around to face a young girl staring up at him with deep green eyes, a slight smile was on her face as she locked eyes with Lucas.

Lucas tensed, his instincts seemingly screaming the word 'run' at him, all the fiber of his being wanted him to escape from this unearthly being before him.

"Don't worry, Lily won't bite." She immediately spoke, her voice silvery, she seemed honest but her elongated canines said otherwise.

"..."

Lucas dare not utter a word, he was now strong, but this being before him, she was far beyond what he is now, the aura around her.

Holy gods.

"What is wrong with humans these days." Lily spoke casually as if a being one level away from becoming divine talking to a human was a normal thing to do.

"Who in the gods name are you?!" Lucas dared to ask, his eyes fixed on the creature before him.

"I thought I introduced myself rather clearly." She sighed audibly, "Lily, my name is Lily."

"Lily, as in the great heavenly dragon queen Lily!" Lucas asked, he looked even more suspicious, "Why are you here?"

"Such a cynical human." Lily growled, "I am here to speak with you."

"Concerning..."

A slight frown.

"Let's get to somewhere safe first."
