Expecting Him

Heemani gazed was focused on the door, she looked like she was expecting someone but the person is not showing up, she looked disappointed.

Sarah noticed how disappointed her friend looked "Are you waiting for someone?" she asked.

"Am not expecting anybody" she lied. Sarah looked at her suspiciously. "Your face speaks otherwise, you expecting someone" she paused for a moment. "Are you expecting Mr. Park and our colleagues?" she asked.

"I am not waiting for them, I told you already to call Mr. Park, they don't need to come here since you are here with me, so am not expecting anybody" she defended.

"Hmmmmm, action speaks louder than voice," Sarah said.

Heemani ignored her, she was truly waiting for someone, she was worried lowkey, and had no idea why the Psycho CEO hadn't shown up.

Terry arrived at his car garage, his Butler was standing, waiting for his boss to park. Terry parked the car smoothly, he alights from the car.

Butler Luke bowed "Welcome sir, Madam Miranda is inside waiting for you," he said.

Terry had a disapproved look on his face "I told you not to allow her here anymore, simple instructions can't you follow?" he said in anger, what he just heard added to his bad mood.

Ezra was about to alight from the car, he stopped him.

"Wait here Ezra, I will come to get you," he said. Ezra nods in approval, he closes the car.

"Let's go," he said to the butler, he walked out of the car garage, and Butler Luke followed him.

Miranda was in the big living room, sipping wine as she watches the news on the T.V, she heard footsteps, "Here comes my son" she thought.

Terry walked forward to her "Mom, what are you doing here?" he asked impatiently.

"Come sit down my son," she said gently.

He looked at her in disbelief "You are inviting me to my own house, unbelievable!" he scoffed.

Miranda was calm "You promise to go on a date, I already set the date, tomorrow night you will take her for dinner," she said.

"Fine mom, I will take whosoever you want me to take for dinner, stop coming here without informing me, I survive with my hard earn, not with the Smith's wealth," he said proudly. "Stop coming here when you feel like it, finish your wine so that I can escort you out," he said.

Miranda didn't object since he already agreed on the date, she stands up and walked out, and Terry followed her.

"I will text you her address, go pick her up like a gentleman, be nice to her," Miranda said.

"I will be nice to her, I promise," she said.

Miranda and Ezra got to her car, and her driver opened the car for her, she entered majestically "Don't let me down, make sure it goes well" she said.

"It will go well" he assured. Terry make sure, Miranda's car left his compound before he went to his car garage to pick up Ezra.

Terry opened the car "I am sorry about that" he apologized. Ezra alights from the car "It's no problem" he said.

Terry looked at Ezra's cheeks, it was red and swollen, he pitied him "Let go, I will apply pain reliever to your cheek" he said and hold Ezra's hand, as they walked towards the main house.

Five new phones with different brands were placed on Liam's desk, he was checking them one after the other, while Alfred was standing like a statue.

Liam finally picked the most expensive brand, he unwrapped the phone "This will do" he said. Alfred walked toward the desk, he picked up the remaining four, I will return this" he said. Liam nods in approval, and Alfred bows and left the office with the remaining four brands.

Liam inserted a new sim into the phone, he dialed his phone number on the new phone, and his phone rang, he saved his contact on the new phone and also save the new number on his phone, and he had a look of satisfaction. He knows how ladies cherished taking pictures, he took some pictures of himself, to check the camera quality, he wasn't smiling but he killed the picture.

"Perfect," he said with a satisfied look on his face. He packed the phone, and continue his work.

2; 00 pm, it was lunchtime, Alfred knock on his boss's office before he entered "Sir, what should I get you for lunch?" he asked politely.

Liam signed the last document on the table for the day, "Let's visit the hospital now, it is not responsible if we don't check on her, the hospital isn't far from here" he said casually.

Responsibility! "When did my boss become so responsible," Alfred thought, his doubt about his boss being swapped rising more in his mind. Liam who was waiting for Alfred to respond didn't get any "Alfred!" he yelled.

Alfred snapped out of his thought "I am sorry sir" he bowed, regretting his action immediately.

"Let go" he stands up from his chair, picked up the new phone, he kept it in his suit. Alfred opens the door for Liam and followed him.

Heemani looked so impatient "Why hasn't he shown up? is he okay? why am I even thinking about that psycho?" different thoughts were running through his mind. Sarah knew she was waiting for someone and she knew who it was but she will deny it, Sarah decided to keep quiet.

Speaking of the devil, Liam arrived like a thief in the night, wherever there is Liam, there is always Alfred, they both entered the ward.

Heemani was excited to see him but her expression didn't change, the excitement was in her mind, not in her face. Liam's face was expressionless as usual, he take steps toward the hospital bed. Sarah stood up and bowed "Welcome Young Master Smith, thanks for everything," she said to show appreciation. Liam nodded without saying a word.

Heemani knows it would be rude of her not to appreciate what the man has done for her.

"Thank you so much for everything," she said in a low tone.

Liam looked at her, her lips look so seductive even without lipstick, his urge to kiss those lips rise, "How can she be so perfect" he thought.

Heemani didn't know why he looks lost in thought, she looked at him "Hello!" she called for his attention. Liam quickly maintains himself "Stop thanking me it's my responsibility," he said coldly.
