It’s time for Phase 3

I left the hospital and reached my house in 15 minutes. Our house is located a little far from the city and there is no house near it for 5 km.

So nobody realized that some knights were bleeding to death here. After seeing the knights laying down in our yard we rushed toward him and when we looked closely we see the Adolescent crest in their uniform which means they are the Adolescent knights.

They were bleeding continuously and there were 30 knights laying down all over our yard. It was indeed a terrifying scene but we need to focus our attention to stop the bleeding of the knights.

Quinella tried her best to stop the bleeding of the knight but witches are experienced in taking lives not to save them so she couldn't save the knights.

But there was a knight in golden armor who is sitting outside our door and it looks like he still have some breaths left.

So we said sorry to the fallen knights and rushed toward the golden armored knight.

When I reached near him he holds my hand and whispers in my ear and dies.

But after hearing his words now I know who attacked our house. Well, in my mind I knew that there is only one person who is capable of it, and not to my surprise it turns out that I was right it was none except the great ploy princess of the Rose Kingdom Rosania Rose.

I laughed after hearing the last words of the knight and Quinella was terrified to see my laugh so she asked me "What happened? What did the knight tell you?"

I paused my laugh and replied he said me to tell Gilbert that the princess has stepped into the battleground, the war is on.

I resumed my laughter again and this time the sound of the laugh sounds more insane and cruel.

After laughing to my heart's content I looked at Quinella and said "Pack our bags and get prepared to welcome the leader of the project".

Quinella was just seeing at me like an idiot a few minutes ago but when I told her to prepare she smiles and says "So finally we are entering in phase 3".

I replied, "Yeah, the time has come for Itami to ascend in this universe, let's prepare a great hallway for him".

After saying that we entered in our house and smelled a disgusting smell. I almost vomited after smelling that bloody smell.

But Quinella seemed to be okay but her eyebrows just uplifted a little bit.

So I guess she knows what this smell is but it seems like she doesn't seem to like it even though she recognizes the smell.

I asked her "What is the smell?" she puts her hand on her nose and says "It's the smell of the disintegrated humans, Oh! I forget to tell you that there will be an unbearable smell coming from the house due to the melted humans".

I gently punched her head and says "You should tell me that a little early anyway let's hurry and take our important stuff and run away and don't forget about Mary I am sure she become unconscious after smelling that shit but she is a great asset to us so we have to rescue her".

I was going to rush into my room like that without putting any mask on but Quinella holds my hand and said to wait a minute.

So I gets out of the house cause really it was unbearable, I figured out that trying to act tough will get me nowhere so it was better to leave the smell in Quinella's hand.

She grabs some red crystal stones from her pocket and throws them on the floor. The crystal broke as soon as it touched the floor and a magical circle suddenly become visible to me.

When the circle become fully visible she started to chant a spell quietly and after a minute she said 'Absotransfero' and the poisonous mist and the smell both get absorbed in the circle and disappeared along with the circle.

After the mist and the smell vanished I rushed to my room to pack my bag but Quinella went to the basement to rescue her.

When she reached the basement she found her alive and kicking. So she brought her to my room and said she is conscious.

I replied Oh! That's good and continued my packing. Quinella was annoyed to see my plain reaction so she jumped at me and holds me on my back and said "Don't you want to know how she is alive".

This time I was a little busy with my packing so I didn't look at her or did I answer her question so she become angry with me and said: "OK, if you don't care then I guess there is no point in letting her live so please excuse me for a minute".

After saying that she took my sword from the cupboard and went near Mary to stab her.

Her eyes were burning in anger that even I could feel it so I am sure that she isn't joking If I don't stop her now she is seriously going to stab her to death.

So I drop my bag and when she was just going to stab her I hold her knife with my hands and stopped it.

Due to my interference, Mary's life was saved but my hands got cut pretty badly.

Quinella dropped her knife and bursts into tears. I don't know what to do should I stop her crying first or should I stop my bleeding?

The choice was clear to me I stopped her crying. I went near her and hugged her tightly and said "Don't worry about it; It's not your fault It was my fault for not listening to you so please forgive me".

After hearing my words she hugged me tightly and stopped crying slowly. In a few minutes, she calmed down.

Oh, I forget to stop my bleeding but that doesn't matter to me now as long as Quinella is happy no kind of injury is too big.

After she calmed down she tears off her skirt and put that cloth on my cut to stop the bleeding. When she was putting that cloth on my cut I smiled and kissed her unconsciously.

She was startled by that sudden kiss but looking at her face it looks like she didn't hate it so I was going to kiss her once more but that's when Mary coughed.

I am sure she was trying to say through that cough that she is here and I should save my kiss for next time.

I understood her warning and stopped myself and picked up my bag and said "Let's go".

Quinella looked at me with a question mark in her eyes and said "What are you saying; I didn't even pack my bag yet".

When she said that Mary also agreed with her and said "Yeah and I also didn't pack my bag yet".

I and Quinella looked at her when she said that and laughed for a while.

After seeing us laughing like that she thought that we are going to abandon her or going to sell her in a slave market so she get scared and started stuttering.

When I noticed that she gets scared I pat her head and said "You don't need to pack anything, we are going to drop you in Miss Lily's place".

After hearing Miss Lily's name she asked me "Who is she? My new owner!"

I replied, "Not your owner exactly she is more like to be your teacher". After saying that I smiled and said to Quinella that I am going to steal a carriage, and get ready before I come back.

Quinella came near Mary and puts her hand on her shoulder and said "You don't need to get so nervous Elisa Lily is my dearest friend, she will take good care of you".

Quinella went back to her work after saying that and after a while she packed almost everything necessary for her.

But I don't understand how a unicorn-shaped doll is a necessary thing but whatever Chris will deal with it anyway.

After some time Chris returned with a carriage and called out Quinella's name. She rushed there with her Unicorn and other stuff and sees a clean carriage and asks him how he got such a nice clean carriage.

He replied "It's a long story I will tell you later for now get on the carriage we have to go and meet Yabuta Ganpachiro as soon as possible and have to prepare for Itami's Isekai ascension".(To Be Continued)

Quinella: Tell me honestly how did you get the carriage?

Chris: Well, I found a merchant with a carriage by luck and asked him if he wants to sell me the carriage for 2000 gold Rois and he agreed.

Quinella: How did you get that much Rois?

Chris: I stole it from the Knights.

Quinella: You are the worst you just stole some gold Rois from dead ones, god will never forgive you.

Chris: Ok, but you are a witch so you shouldn't say words like god will never forgive you.

Quinella: Oh! It just slipped out of my mouth, sorry.
