"*cough**cough*" James almost choked

"how did you know?"

" I want to join the council " Theo said

"don't get ahead of your self " James said knowing where Theo was headed with this discussion

" I'm sure the rest of the council will love to hear that your wife witch " Theodore said with sarcasm

" you wouldn't dare , I don't mind sending you to prison myself "

" who will believe you?" Theodore said knowing no one in their right sense will believe he killed his father

" listen old hag , I too don't want Lucy to be beheaded she looks to young and innocent to die in that manner. but I will do absolutely everything to get my way " Theodore added

" how did you find out ?" James asked

" it was pretty simple , she gave birth to witch " Theodore said already knowing his mother was a witch

" what are you? "

" your grandson, silly " Theodore said with a bright smile

" you can't join the council "

"why not?" Theo asked already losing his patient with the old man

" you're too young "

"I didn't say now did I ?" asked Theo

" i see your taking me to another church " he added

James was done with Theo, why was he awfully smart for his age

"turn the carriage around " James informed the coach man

when they arrived everyone was gathered for break fast including Maria and the twins

" Theodore I saved this seat for you , come, come the food is getting cold" Rose said with so much enthusiasm

" oh , thank you every much ma'am " Theo said with a brow raised

"I see everyone is settled" Lucy said after James had his seat

" Sophie, did Michael not come with you?"

Sophie almost choked hearing the question Maria threw at her.

" he had plans " Theo answered

" I don't mean to be rude but what plans?"

" he had important business to attend to " Sophie said

" I heard he was quite a drinker " maria didn't seem to want to drop the matter about Michel

" he as stopped " said Sophie with a small smile

" oh really ?"

"why are you asking ?, you need him to recommend some fine liquor for you?" Theo finally asked

" do I look like I drink to you ?" Maria asked clearly offended

" isn't very obvious my lady " Theo said with a smirk

" I see you're mannerless like your mother"

"say one bad word against my mother and you'll lose your tongue"

"ENOUGH !!!" James slammed the table to declare silence

" Theodore apologize to your aunt " Lucy said seeing the displeased look on Maria's face

" she should be the one to apologize to my mom , she clearly call her mannerless " Theo said feel no guilt or remorse towards his previous action

" I was only stating facts . if it weren't for her tarnishing the family name I could have married the king "

" and be what his fourth wife ?" Theo said and chuckled

" you bastard !!' Maria lost her cool

"Maria, you can't insult my son like that!" Sophie was not happy with the fact that Maria insulted Theo

" I'm sure you don't even know who is the father of this child . you whore " Maria restored, she had hopes to marry the king and live a luxurious life but because of Sophie's immoral behavior she lost the face to stand besides the king

" the king wouldn't have ever chose you even if you were the last woman on earth " Sophie to have had enough of her sister's behavior and for the first time she spoke up to her elder sister

"enough!" James ordered as things seemed out of hand " not another word from anyone " he added

Sophie felt unjustified , if maria was in her shoes James would have asked her to apologize but when it's comes to her he just brushes off

he was clearly drawing a line and picking favorite. feeling upset she left the dinning hall , with nothing left for Theo to do he followed her .

Rose was utterly confused, she always wanted a younger brother who she can care and tend to , and her luck blessed her with Theo' but he talks to matured for his age, right?'

Rose turned to look at her mom who was currently fuming with rage and then to her brother who was quietly chewing his food with a blank expression before he turned to look at her

"eat " harry said before also dismissing the table

the day went by fast and the night soon

" aren't you hungry? " Sophie asked Theo who stuck to her all day

" I'm good " he said with smile

"you haven't eaten all day "

"a little fasting wouldn't hurt"

"if your hungry , feel free to eat "

"OK"

" I'll leave now to go rest , Good night "

"Good night "

Sophie then went for her room while Theo walked to his but on his way there he crossed paths with harry

" Theodore, right? "he heard harry ask

" you wanna hang tomorrow? " Harry asked on a rather chilled note , even after seeing how Theo spoke to his mom

"sure why not " Theodore said with a smirk which harry returned before leaving

" I sensed hostility" said Lucas who popped out for no where

" me too" Theodore said with a sigh

"you look pale "

" well, it been quite sometime since I had blood"

"wanna get fresh or ---- ? "

" fresh "

" then let's go " Lucas snapped his finger and they disappeared from the hallway

Lucas and Theodore appeared at a rather strange looking place with people drinking and dancing

" wanna get a drink first? " Lucas asked Theo who looked rather too young to be there

"sure"

" two bottles of beer " Lucas asked the bartender who appeared to already know Theo and Lucas as a regular

"on the house" the bartender said and waved his hand like it was nothing

Theo and Lucas soon started to drink the bear as Theo's eyes wandered to the dance floor where strippers dance on the pole while the lustful men continued to spend their money buying drink and company

" what's on your mind lately?" Lucas asked Theo

"nothing much really " Theo answered and drank the whole glass in one gulp before his fang came into view .

" you seem awfully distracted "

Lucas said while Theo's eyes continued to wandered around before he finally found what he was looking for

leaving Lucas behind he went and sat beside a drunk girl who looked 13 or 14 without wasting time he grabbed her hand and pierced his fangs into her fragile skin before sucking her dry

" you must be really thirsty " said Lucas who appeared behind him

the bar was a place for night creatures to hang so it wasn't strange to see a dead body lying here and there

" you okay or -------- ?"

" this should be enough "Theo said with a bright smile

" I'll be headed back now " he added

" before you go, you can feel free to come here anytime you want , it not good to hold your thirst Lucas said before disappearing

Theo looked at the dead girl before muttering

" you should have stayed at home, only bad kids come here "

with that he also disappeared
