Chapter 218

After meeting Zheng Nan, while returning home, Li Zi Yun said to Wang Yu, "You should have at least asked me about Uncle Zheng Nan. I was really scared for a moment that you would say the real reason why we came. It would have been so embarrassing"

Wang Yu was deep in thought. He could see that Li Zi Yun was excited about meeting someone whom she had known from her mother's time. Like Wang Yu, Li Zi Yun did not over think about the meeting with Zheng Nan. She thought that Wang Yu must have been mistaken.

After some time, Wang Yu asked Li Zi Yun, "Have you known him for a long time?"

"Hmm… at least before my mother died I have seen him often"

Wang Yu nodded his head without saying anything. Still he found it difficult to connect the dots.

When Wang Yu did not say anything, Li Zi Yun continued, "Don't worry. He is not my biological father."

Li Zi Yun did not put much thought into the meeting with Zheng Nan. Wang Yu had seen the surprise in Zheng Nan's face when Li Zi Yun called out to him, though he managed to change his facial expression within a fraction of a second, Wang Yu had seen it.

The name Wang Yu's men found out and told him earlier was not Zheng Nan. The only positive thing they got from this meeting was, getting to know the man's real name. Wang Yu immediately sent a text to Assistant Liu Guang to find out everything he could about Zheng Nan. He never liked being on the ignorant side. Without Zheng Nan's help, Wang Yu knew that he would be dead now. But why did he pretend that he did not know anything? Wang Yu wanted to find out everything. After finding out his real name, he knew that it was a matter of time before they find out everything about Zheng Nan.

The next morning each and every information they could find on Zheng Nan had been sent to Wang Yu. He was not quite surprised when he saw the contents of the report. Zheng Nan was part of the mafia and he was the Don. Though he had been very much active in the past, he maintained a low profile now. What Wang Yu found interesting was, Li Zi Yun's mother and Zheng Nan had been dating each other before Li Zi Yun's mother got married to Li Shu Chen.

Though Zheng Nan had been affectionate to Li Zi Yun, Wang Yu could not see that parental love. What puzzled Wang Yu now was, if not Zheng Nan then who was Li Zi Yun's father. Not having an answer to this question was really irritating Wang Yu more than Li Zi Yun. But still Wang Yu had found a strand of hair after Zheng Nan left and he had sent it for DNA testing. Only after getting the result, he would know for sure if Zheng Nan was not Li Zi Yun's biological father.

Wang Yu asked Li Zi Yun, "Baby… Should we go visit the Wu's?"

Li Zi Yun nodded her head. If she had a family, she would have visited them on the third day after marriage. But since the Wu's were like the bride family during the wedding, both Wang Yu and Li Zi Yun had planned to visit them.

Li Zi Yun said, "Let's go and check on your sister after that���

Wang Yu nodded his head. Earlier before the wedding, Wang Yu had planned to live in his penthouse after the wedding. Now with Wang Yiran waking up, he had made up his mind; he was not letting Li Zi Yun live near Wang Yiran.

Li Zi Yun knew that Wang Yiran would never change. Wang Yiran would be the same old shrewd wench no matter how many near death experiences she faces. She did not want Wang Yu to have any regrets in the future. Li Zi Yun had heard about many patients dying after waking up from coma. If something like that happens, she was sure that Wang Yu would regret it throughout his life. So Li Zi Yun thought it was better to go and visit her now when she was well just for the sake of her husband.

Wang Yu and Li Zi Yun went to the Wu's family home and after spending some time there, they went straight to Wang family Residence. Li Zi Yun thought that her mother in law must be angry with her. After Wang Yiran woke up, they had left the home almost immediately and came back only after a week and had not contacted them even once. Li Zi Yun was expecting the worst as she entered the house; her only consolation was that Wang Yu was supporting her. But the complete opposite happened.

Mrs. Wang greeted Li Zi Yun warmly when she was Wang Yu and Li Zi Yun enter the house, "Did you both have a good time? Why did you return so soon? You should have stayed there for few more days"

Wang Yu replied, "Don't worry. We will be leaving in an hour. How is Yiran?"

Mrs. Wang said to him, "She is in therapy now. I'm glad there wasn't much complication after she woke up"

"Did you tell Yiran that I got married?"

Mrs. Wang shook her head, "We haven't told her yet. We haven't found the right time"

"Then when are you going to tell her? Her condition is stable; the doctor had already informed me. Are you going to wait till our baby is born?"

Mrs. Wang looked at Li Zi Yun and asked, "Oh My!!! Are you pregnant? Are you going to be a mother?

Li Zi Yun was flustered. She glared at Wang Yu.

"No Mother. I'm not…"

Wang Yu said to Li Zi Yun, "I will go inside first. You can come inside when I call you"

Li Zi Yun was not very eager to see Wang Yiran. She only wanted to let her husband see his sister who was comatose for so many years.

When Mrs. Wang was alone with Li Zi Yun, she said, "I know that you can't forgive Wang Yiran. But just try to forgive her for me; I will be really happy if you give her one more chance."

Li Zi Yun smiled without saying a word. She did not want to give false hope or false promises.
