Chapter 212
The security had been tightened in the wedding hall. There were more than hundred security guards present, to continuously monitor the situation. Wang Yu did not want to take any risks in this matter. The guests were allowed entry based on invite and every invitation had a secret code printed in an invisible ink. This was done mainly for security purpose.
The wedding took place in an huge open space and the place had been transformed to look like a place just out of a fairy tale. Everything in the venue looked magical, even the cake was levitating mid air near the altar. The entrance had a huge iron gate with flowers intertwined between them, giving a dreamy look. The flowers present there made it look like an enchanted garden. Flowers were hanging from the ceiling, almost making it impossible to think that it was an outdoor venue. Along the aisle there were Juliet rose's. Li Zi Yun would have fainted if she had heard the amount of money spent on the flowers alone.
Each and every inch of the venue had been decorated. Even the walkway leading to the ceremony location were decorated beautifully with flowers. The floral display was nothing like anyone had ever seen before. Though Wang Yu was not keen on holding the wedding ceremony initially, he was the one who has designed the venue. He wanted his wife Li Zi Yun to feel extra special during this day. Millions had been spent on the flowers alone. Along with the flowers, crystals were combined, giving the venue the perfect dreamy wedding look. Wang Yu was waiting to see Li Zi Yun's reaction.
Fireworks had been set off when Wang Yu and Li Zi Yun entered the venue. It was time for the wedding reception to start. Wang Yu entered the venue first, resulting in all the unmarried woman sighing that they have missed the most eligible bachelor in the country. Then it was Li Zi Yun's turn to enter.
When Li Zi Yun entered, she was stunned to see decoration done in the venue. If there was no one around and if it was not her wedding, Li Zi Yun would have been screaming and running around happily. Wang Yu could see the happiness in his wife's face. This was just what he was hoping and he had got the perfect result. Li Zi Yun couldn't stop staring at the cake that was floating mid air. The cake was taller than 6 feet and since it was floating, it seemed even taller. Since she had to behave ladylike, Li Zi Yun tried to compose her face, but still she smiled broadly.
When Li Zi Yun reached the midway in the aisle Wang Yu was waiting there for her. He placed a kiss on her cheeks and whispered in her ears silently, "Do you like what I have done?"
Li Zi Yun wouldn't have normally showed her affection in public, but Wang Yu's question made it clear to her that it was her husband's creation. She kissed him back on his cheeks staining her red lipstick on his cheeks. They walked down the aisle to the altar together, holding hands. Though most of them did not want to see Wang Yu with another woman, everyone agreed on one thing, Wang Yu and Li Zi Yun looked perfect together like they were made for each other.
The ring that Wang Yu chose for Li Zi Yun was made with more than a hundred white diamonds with a rare sapphire holding the centre. Li Zi Yun had got Wang Yu's ring. The salary she had gotten from working under Wang Yu was more than enough to get her husband an expensive platinum ring. She had their initials engraved on the inside of the ring. After Wang Yu's parents thanked the guest for the attending the ceremony, Wang Yu and Li Zi Yun exchanged rings.
When Wang Yu and Li Zi Yun kissed, thousands of flower petals fell from the ceiling finishing the fairy tale look. They cut the cake and fed each other. A mini version of the cake was served to every guest and the wedding banquet started. It was time for Li Zi Yun to change her dress again. Li Zi Yun wouldn't have changed her dress, but her mother in law's assistant was nagging her continuously and she thought it was better to change the clothes than listen to her nagging the whole time.
Li Zi Yun wore a golden dress now with the family heirloom that Grandmother Wang gave her with a matching pair of earrings. She quickly came out without changing her hairdo since the wedding feast was going on. The delicacies had been brought in from various parts of the world and also included the traditional dishes served in the wedding. The Wang family had gone all out in throwing a lavish feast. Soon it was Wang Yu and Li Zi Yun's turn to toast and greet the guests and thank them for attending the ceremony.
Li Zi Yun was grateful that they hadn't invited a long list of guests, but still it was huge crowd for her. At the end of the day Li Zi Yun felt so tired that she would have fell asleep right there if anyone hadn't spoken to her for five minutes. But the day was far from over for the newly wed couple.
