The forest of death
Cael brought his hands together and stretched them wide, forming a blade of wind between them.
It was enough of a provocation for the centipede. It wiggled its mandibles and charged at Cael with an impressive speed for a beast of that size.
He was still faster, though. With a beat of his wings, he jumped away, sending the massive wind blade right at the creature's neck.
This blade had little in common with low level Wind Blades beyond the fundamental structure. Cael used known meta-forms and repeated them until the blade became so charged with mana that it could count as a level six spell.
It wasn't big, but flew with such speed that it was almost instantaneous. The speed was so fast that instead of swishing of air, there were only two bangs—first when it began to move, and second when it hit the target.
