The villa where the Chu Family resided was located in one of the top-tier affluent districts in D City.

Several men in black looked at the photograph of the woman, and then at Yuan Yifan who was coming out of the district. They exchanged glances before walking towards her, calm and collected.

Normally, people would be on their guard if a group of men in black were aggressively approaching them.

But Yuan Yifan was different, perhaps her mind was preoccupied with overwhelming worries. She was in such a daze that she didn't notice being dragged into a car by two burly men until it was too late.

"What are you doing? Are you abducting me?" she asked.

"Stay quiet," was the response from behind, where a sharp knife was pressed against her back. Even though she couldn't see the gleaming blade, she could feel its sharpness.

If she made the slightest movement, she'd be stabbed. It would go in white and come out red.

She dared not make a sound afterward.
