ch43 < Truth >

As the day's lesson came to an end, the students left Delsgade's gates, buzzing with excitement. We had just finished a captivating series of explanations on different magic concepts and techniques

"So, like…" Sasha mumbled beside me as we walked away from the academy. "Why do I have to walk back with you two?"

Karna blinked, her head tilting in confusion. I decided to answer the question. "We're friends, aren't we? Let's head to my house. I'll prepare dinner for everyone."

< Her tsundere is quite cute. She clearly want to join us>

"What?! Why would I go with you?" Sasha shot back, her voice edged with annoyance.

"Think of it as a chance to learn something new. I can even teach you teleportation magic," I offered.

Sasha agreed. "Fine, I'll come. But only because you promised."

"Great! Here, hold my hand." I extended my hand to her, a smile on my face.

Misha!. I extend my hand to her.

Sasha, looking a bit unsure, took my other hand. "Okay, let's do this."

"Now you two hold hands as well," I instructed.

"Huh?! Why should I?" Sasha's expressions shifted from confusion to irritation.

I stared at her steadily, and sensing my unyielding gaze, she finally relented. "Fine, here," she said, extending her hand to Misha.

Sasha hesitated for a moment before touching her sister's hand.

"You need to hold on properly," I instructed.

Sasha tightened her grip just a bit on my hand. "Like this?"

Misha gripped her hand firmly as well, though the contact between the two sisters remained light.

"Oh, come on! Hold on properly, or the magic won't work," karna said.

"Okay…" Sasha squeezed back.

Misha usually impassive face lighting up with a faint smile. Misha look at me with thankful gaze.

"Hey! If you're going to talk to each other, do it with your mouths, not your eyes!" Sasha snapped, glaring at us.

"What? Want to join in?" I asked, meeting Sasha's gaze. She looked away, her cheeks reddening.

"Don't worry, Sasha. Your Magic Eyes won't harm Misha or me."

"That… that's…" she was always worried to meet her eyes with someone.

"Enough! Show me the spell already."

"Alright, alright. No need to get so noisy."

With a focused gesture, I activated spatial transfer and teleported outside my house. Both girls stared at me, astonished.

"What was that?" Sasha asked, her eyes wide. "That wasn't Gatom, was it?"

That was a spell combining both space manipulation and mana Perception."

"Such a complex spell," Sasha muttered, clearly impressed.

I then prepared dinner for everyone, teasing Sasha about her tsundere attitude as I cooked. When the meal was served, Sasha's expression softened into one of satisfaction after her first bite. She even began to open up a bit, chatting with Misha.

After dinner, I decided to make some sweets while Sasha and Misha continued their conversation.

The room was silent for over ten minutes. Eventually, Sasha broke the quiet, mumbling, "He's late."

"Yeah…" Misha replied, her voice gentle. The silence returned until Sasha spoke again.

"Say…"

"Hm?"

"You spoke a lot today."

"Yeah."

"Do you like Karna?" Sasha asked, her curiosity clear.

"I do."

"I… I see. What's so good about him?"

"He's kind, and I feel happy when he's near."

The silence stretched again. "What about you, Sasha?"

"What about me?" Sasha's tone was defensive.

"Do you like Karna?" Misha asked, her gaze steady.

"Huh?!" Sasha's face turned a deep shade of red. "As if! That would be absurd."

"I see…"

"That's right."

Misha stared at Sasha, whose agitation was palpable.

"But…" Sasha mumbled, her voice softening, "he's the only one who's ever looked me in the eye."

"Yeah…"

"Honestly, it's ridiculous. My eyes are beautiful, and he calls me a goddess?" There was a hint of a smile in her voice.

"Say, that thing we did earlier… it brought back memories."

"The thing with our hands…?" misha asked.

"Yeah."

"It did."

"Can we do it again?" Sasha asked hesitantly.

"Okay." misha extended my hand once more, and the two sisters linked hands again.

"We used to do this all the time," Sasha said, her voice growing wistful. "Whenever I cried inside the cell, you'd reach for my hand and smile at me."

Misha nodded.

"Honestly, it's hard to tell who's the older one." Sasha said.

"You're the big sister," Misha reminded her gently.

Sasha smiled wryly. "Misha, I'm only going to say this once."

Misha nodded, her expression serious.

"I'm sorry. Will you forgive me?" Sasha asked, her voice tinged with vulnerability.

Misha shook her head. "I was never angry."

Sasha's eyes widened in surprise. "Really?"

Misha smiled softly. "Really."

Later, Karna joined us, handing out pastries he had freshly prepared. With a wave of his hand, he teleported both Sasha and Misha right in front of their house.

"See you tomorrow," Misha said quietly, her voice tinged with a mix of relief and uncertainty as she turned to leave.

"Goodbye, Misha," I replied. She entered through the gate of her house, leaving me alone with Sasha.

As I watched Misha's figure disappear behind the gate, Karna turned to Sasha. "So, Sasha, what would you like to talk about?"

Sasha, still standing in her spot, faced Karna. "What's wrong?" I asked, noticing her conflicted expression.

"Say, Karna, do you believe in fate?" Sasha's voice carried a blend of curiosity and vulnerability.

"Yes, I believe in fate," Karna answered, his tone calm and assured.

"Then tell me, Karna, what would you do if fate brought changes you didn't like?" Sasha asked, her voice trembling slightly.

"That's easy. If you don't like what fate has in store for you, change it," Karna replied confidently, his eyes locking with hers.

"Do you really think fate can be changed?" Sasha pressed, her gaze intense and searching.

"Yeah, it's quite simple," Karna said with a reassuring smile, his confidence evident.

"How so?" Sasha inquired, her curiosity piqued.

"Just alter the strings of fate," Karna explained, his smile gentle and encouraging.

Sasha's eyes widened as she pondered his words, her thoughts clearly racing. "Hey, Karna, can you come here for a second?"

"I refuse," Karna teased lightly, enjoying the playful banter between them.

"Why are you refusing? Just come here," Sasha insisted softly, her voice carrying a mix of curiosity and deeper emotions.

"Say it softly," Karna responded, sensing the tension and the underlying emotions.

Sasha sighed, her amazement evident. She took a step closer, her heart pounding as she looked up at Karna with anticipation and nervousness. "Could you at least close your eyes for a moment, please?"

Karna obliged, closing his eyes as she requested. He felt her approach, her presence warming him, before a soft, tender sensation pressed against his lips.

"That was my final kiss. Now I don't have any regrets," Sasha thought to herself, her mind swirling with conflicting emotions of relief and a touch of sadness.

Using the power of Sentience, I sensed the depth of Sasha's feelings and emotions in that moment. It was as if her heart had been laid bare.

"That was our second kiss," I remarked with a gentle smile, trying to lighten the mood and break the tension.

"I-It was just a kiss between friends. As a thank you…" Sasha murmured, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment as she tried to downplay the significance of their kiss.

Karna, perceptive to Sasha's inner turmoil, gently took her by the waist and looked deeply into her eyes. "Sasha, I can sense your inner turmoil. I know how you feel about me."

Sasha hesitated, her burden evident in her expression. Karna's words struck a chord within her, and she could no longer deny the truth. Before she could respond, Karna leaned in and kissed her . His lips melded with hers, his touch igniting a storm of sensations within Sasha. Her mind became a whirlwind, overwhelmed by the intensity of the kiss and the realization of her true feelings.

After the kiss, Karna held her close, his voice soft yet resolute. "Sasha, I know about your situation with Misha. I also know about the Origin Spell Dielga and the fusion spell Dino Jixes that were used on you."

Sasha's eyes widened in surprise and confusion. "Did Misha tell you?" she asked, her voice tinged with disbelief.

Karna nodded silently, his expression filled with empathy. Tears shimmered in Sasha's eyes as she struggled to process his words.

Karna brushed a strand of hair from her face, his touch tender and reassuring. "Sasha, I care about you deeply. I want to help you break free from the chains of fate and carve your own path."

"But that's not possible. On our 15th birthday, Misha and I will become one, and Misha will cease to exist," Sasha revealed, her voice heavy with sorrow and resignation.

"Indeed, and to counter this, you developed a spell that aligns one's magic wavelength with that of another," Karna acknowledged.

"How did you know all of this?" Sasha asked, her curiosity piqued.

"I pointed to my eyes and said my eyes are special," Karna explained with a hint of amusement. "Sorry, Sasha, but after our second kiss, I read your mind."

"That's...," Sasha hesitated, taking a moment to gather her thoughts. "Yes, Karna. I like you. The time I spent with you and Misha was the happiest moment of my life," Sasha confessed, her voice filled with emotion.

Using Ultimate Skill Kama, I ensured that Sasha would reveal all of her plans and her innermost feelings.

She explained how she had tirelessly researched a way to ensure Misha's survival after the Dino Jixes fusion, but for her plan to succeed, Misha had to reject her.

"That's why, despite loving Misha dearly, I began to verbally abuse her and keep my distance," Sasha admitted with a pained expression.

"Your plan will not work," I interjected honestly.

"Why?" Sasha asked, her voice trembling.

"Because Misha harbored no hatred for you. She will willingly accept her demise so you can live," I explained.

"I did everything to make her hate me," Sasha confessed, her emotions spiraling out of control.

"Beside Misha heard everything". I replied.

Unbeknownst to Sasha, Misha had been listening to the entire conversation. I reached out to Misha through thought communication.

"What?!" Sasha shouted in disbelief as I pointed toward Misha, who had been standing behind them, quietly listening.

I cast an invisible spell to shield Misha from Sasha's view. "Misha was already present before you revealed the truth," I said calmly.

Misha then rushed over and embraced her sister tightly.

"You're a terrible liar, Sasha," Misha said with a warm smile, her eyes filled with affection for her sister. "But even after everything, I love you and your awkward self."

Sasha bit down on her lip, trying to hold back her tears, but they began to flow freely, unable to be restrained.

"Waaah!" Sasha cried out, her sobs echoing through the night. "Why did you do it, Karna? Now Misha will die," she sobbed, collapsing onto the ground in anguish.

Misha gently placed a comforting hand on her sister's head, wrapping her other arm around Sasha. "There, there," she soothed softly. "Don't worry. I never existed to begin with."

The revelation left Sasha stunned, her tears mingling with the cold night air as she struggled to process the weight of the truth.
