Chapter 72 Big Mistake

Karna expected a lot of things to happen when Cana took him home. There are a lot of punishments you can give when you know you have a talisman that can heal every physical injury you can get. But he did not expect what happened when I went through the door after her.

"Mm" Cana just slightly hummed just rubbed her head on his chest. And it seems like the mood was getting hot and just as they were about to kiss again.

He immediately went towards the door to beat the crap out of the guy coming to disturb him. But as he opened the door.

"Karna Vermillion, by the order of the council you are under arrest because of the blatant use of violence in the train station to innocent workers by your guild members headed by you."

Karna should remember that this happened in cannon and since Erza was the highest rank in the team, she was selected for this. It was just an empty stunt done by the council to show that they have more power than the strongest guild in the country by arresting one of their strongest members. But right now, Karna was the strongest among the group that did this so they are targeting him.

"Karna" Cana asked worriedly as she had heard what had happened from the kitchen and come to the front.

"don't worry about it, I will be back" Karna said and Cana froze at the expression he gave and he went with them.

As they went out, Cana broke out from her shock as she did, she realised that she was sweating a lot. She remembered the expression shown by Karna before he left

"you have no idea darling, about how much you look like her. Just now before you left the expression you showed me was exactly what she would have shown just before she spoke her horrifying punishment. Exactly like a calm before the storm" Cana shivered again as she spoke to herself

She knew that Karna's impeccable record of not causing any problems or public property damage is going to end today.

At the time Karna was not thinking why he was called, he kept silent the whole time the knights took him to the teleportation portal. The knights thought that their intimidation and power is what made him so compliant but how wrong they were, they will only know later.

"Doranbolt, are you alright" Lahar caught him and asked worried

"I don't know why Lahar, but the expression shown by Vermillion is scary"

Lahar doubtfully asked

"scary, what do you mean. He was not showing any expression."

"I don't know man but somehow that's reminding me something that I saw before. I don't remember what it is, but my instincts are telling me to run away without looking back. Chances of me erasing that memory due to some kind of trauma is very high"

Lahar still decided to take him back inside to the medic's room to check for any magic effect. He didn't sense any from Karna or nearby, but he decided to check just in case.

Karna was then brought into the council room and made to stand in the podium facing every council member.

At the time Natsu was running towards the council.

"No way I'm gonna let them punish Karna for no reason. We did the right thing kicking the dark guilds asses"

At the time inside the council room one man was shaking in the boots and sweating heavily seeing Karna's expression

'oh my god its her expression, and these idiots beside me are grinning and gloating like they are going to do something great. Oh my god, I don't want any part in this'
