Untold Anger

|—Zenin Clan—|

"Maki, Mai, clan head is calling for you." The voice came from the door leading to the garden, prompting the two girls there to turn their attention toward the servant that called to them.

"Nee-san… Is everything alright?" The little girl asked with slight worry in her voice, making her elder sister hold her hand in assurance.

"It's alright, Mai. I'm here." Maki smiled, trying her best to lower the worries of her little sister despite feeling the same inside.

Normally, the Clan head would never call upon useless members like them if there is nothing important.

And what important thing could it be that required for the head to call them, the trash of the Zenin Clan?

Unlike Mai, the little sister, Maki was more mature due to the extreme condition she was put into.

She knew something might have happened which is related to them.

She thought it was her duty as the elder sister to make sure her little sister is not afraid of anything.

"What are you two doing there standing like statues? Did you not hear me? Clan head is calling for you." The servant called once more, this time her voice slightly stretched with annoyance. "Useless trash…"

The last words were said in a hushed voice, but they were still heard by the twin, making Mai's body tense.

She only calmed down as she felt the grip of her elder sister around her hand tightening, assuring her that everything will be alright.

"Che." The servant clicked her tongue in annoyance, staring at the twin before starting to walk in the direction of the clan head's room.

The walk to the clan head's office was nerve-racking to say the least for the twins as everyone in the hallway stared at them, like a human staring at animals in a zoo.

For kids their age, it was obvious how much pressure they felt from the stare they were receiving from their surroundings.

Mai pulled herself behind Maki as if shielding herself from the stares thrown at them, tightly holding the kimono of her elder sister with her small hands.

Feeling the fear of her sister, Maki's hold over her hand tightened.

Despite feeling scared herself, she made sure to walk without showing any emotions on her face—it was stoned, showing no emotions.

It was the expression of a five-year-old girl, enough to make one feel sad for her, yet the stares only intensified with each second let alone lowering.

"Well… if not it's my dear cousins."

A boy of around 15 or so stood outside the door of the clan head with his back resting on the wall as if waiting for the twins' arrival.

He motioned the servant to leave, which she did right away, afraid to antagonize the person before her.

Naoya Zenin was the son of the current head of the Zenin Clan known for his arrogant and narcissistic behavior.

Also, the fact that he viewed everyone around him with nothing but contempt and disgust, so it wouldn't be surprising if he killed a servant like her if his mood were to soured, which prompted the servant to leave right away.

After the servant left, Naoya looked back towards the twins with disgust evident in his eyes.

To him, women had no value than to serve men—a woman who can't walk three steps behind a man should be stabbed to death, that was the value of women in his eyes.

And it degraded more so when the twins in front of him were not only female but also useless trash—one possessing such a low amount of cursed energy that she can't even see curses (this was even lower than normal humans who could see curses if thrown into life and death situation) while the other had enough cursed energy to be called useless.

'At least they had the face to be useful.'

Staring at the twin, a nihilistic smirk formed on his face.

"Congratulations! Even trash like you can have some use out there." He clapped his hands, making the twin's body tense. "You got a buyer now! I guess, even if as a slave, you got some values."

Neither Maki nor Mai said anything.

They choose to remain silent.

But it still didn't stop Maki from giving Naoya a glare, her eyes holding untold anger and determination.

Like telling the world that no matter what others said, she would never back down or be afraid of them.

"What is with those eyes, brat?" Seeing her glare, Naoya became annoyed. "Want me to gouge them out for you? I don't think your buyer would mind if you are missing an eye or two. He is probably buying you for your face anyway."

He raised his foot, wanting to hit the face of Maki.

"Stop it Nee-san." Mai from behind pulled Maki, whispering into her ears to stop.

She didn't want Maki to get hurt.

With her teeth gritted, Maki lowered her head, staring at the ground.

She felt humiliated.

But knowing that retaliation will get her and her sister into trouble, she didn't mind lowering her head.

"Oh! What a cute pair of twins!" The sudden emergence of a highly nonchalant voice in the hallway filled with a heavy atmosphere felt out of place, making the twin lookup, finding the face of a young man staring at them.

He was crouching on the floor so his face was on their level, allowing the twin to clearly see his face—black hair tied in a small ponytail, black eyes, and a sharp face.

The sudden appearance of a man in front of them caught the twins off-guard, and not only them, even Naoya stared at Noah with a tensed body.

'When did he appear?'

He was a grade one sorcerer, so hiding from his perception was close to impossible.

For the young man to appear out of nowhere, it made Naoya cautious of him.

"Who are you?" He inquired, the cursed energy starting to flow into his body.

"Say, what is your name?" He completely ignored Naoya, much to his increasing irritation, and asked Maki who stared at Noah's face with interest and curiosity.

"Maki…" She softly answered, feeling strangely calm staring at Noah's abyssal black eyes.

"That is a beautiful name, Maki." Noah smiled.

A silence fell with everyone looking at the smiling Noah with weird gazes, though the heavy flow of cursed energy behind him said otherwise.

"And yours?" His gaze landed on Mai. "Your name?"

"Mai…"

"Mai and Maki." Noah nodded. "Mai and Maki, trash of the Zenin Clan, I'm Noah Pendragon, trash of Pendragon Family, it is nice to meet you."

First come to common terms between you and them—it was the basic rule of any understanding between two people.

If a common term is created, it makes both parties more relaxed when talking with each other.

Was it necessary?

Obviously not.

But like the twins and Togi, Noah also hated the family he was born into to the point that if he had power, he wouldn't mind going back to kill them and take the position of the head for himself.

He was born with an already matured consciousness and even he felt like giving up once during his time in the Pendragon Family, he could only guess what the twins in front of him felt during their time in the Zenin Clan.

"Hey… I'm talking to you!" A leg suddenly appeared beside Noah's face, only some inches apart as if coming out of a void and "hit" him, creating a large blast.

"Oh… There was also someone else here? Sorry sorry, I didn't see you man." Naoya's eyes widened as he felt someone standing over his head. "I kinda have a hard time looking at people weaker than me, just a bad habit of mine."

A vein popped over Naoya's head before a burst of cursed energy came from within his body, making Noah jump away from his head and land on the ground.

"There there… No need to get angry. Aren't you the same?" With a smirk, Noah stared at Naoya's face. "Weaker people can't get into your sight either, right? So it should be fair for you to get the same treatment in return. Then why so mad bro?"

"Ooops!" A fist appeared before his face, making Noah take a spin as his hand moved behind Naoya's neck and gripped it before pushing him downward, his face lodging into the ground creating another blast.

"That was close bro, what are you doing? What if that first hit me? Are you willing to take responsibility for ruining my handsome face? That is not so daijobu you know."

Veins appeared on Naoya's face, his eyes bloodshot as he stared at Noah who was pulling his hair to make him look up into his smiling face and mocking eyes.

He felt like his head would explode due to the amount of anger he was feeling currently.

So humiliating! Never in his whole life has anyone ever dared to mock him, humiliate him, and stare at him with those eyes that clearly said "you are so weak".

It infuriated him!

But what astonished him the most was, 'He doesn't have any cursed energy!'

An image of a man appeared within his mind, the only man that was worthy for him to follow.

The man that stood at the peak despite others calling him weak—Togi Zenin.

"Hmm? Did I hit you so hard?" He looked slightly apologetic before his eyes turned towards the twins that had created some distance between them. "Say, you don't think he went senile from that hit on the head, did he? That's why I don't fight with the weak, they lose so fast(and they are so fragile)."

He was angry.

He couldn't even remember the last time he felt so angry with something.

It was already a miracle how he was stopping himself from not killing Naoya.

If not for the repercussions from the Zenin Clan and the fact that he wasn't fully confident in his victory against the whole clan, Nagoya would have been dead long ago.

Seeing Naoya staring at the twin with disgust made him remember his uncle back in the Pendragon Family, the current head of the Pendragon family, and the only person he would never forgive in his whole life.

"I'll kill you…" Naoya said, but due to damage to his face making it swollen, his voice sounded broken and weird, making Noah push his ear towards his lips.

"Oya? Did you say something? The voice was so weak and feeble that I thought I was talking with a girl for a second. Try to shout a little, be a man."

"I… Will… KILL YOU BASTARD!"

"Oh!" Noah looked surprised as he saw Naoya vanish before appearing behind as he punched him.

A smirk formed on Naoya's face as he felt his fist connecting but…

"Quite a fast fella aren't ya?" His eyes widened feeling Noah's hand around his shoulder making them look like some old buddies. "I hope you are not that fast in bed too. Would be quite sad. Don't you think so too, Naoya?"

'How?'

That was the only question within his mind right now.

How did Noah appear beside him when he clearly felt his fist hitting him?

How is he so fast?

Why can't he defeat him?

He, the most talented genius of the Zenin Clan, why can't he beat someone like Noah who is clearly trash with zero cursed energy?

He refused to believe that Noah was the same as Togi.

To him, Togi was different.

He was born to be the strongest. He was born to stand at the apex. On the other hand, Noah looked nothing more than a fake to him—an imitation.

So how?

"It's your mind bro, your mind." His eyes widened with anger as Noah kept on poking his head, making it tilt over and over. "You can't catch me, not with that weak ass mind. At least be in the same realm as me before even thinking of catching me."

A smirk over his face, his eyes narrowed with pleasure as he stared at Naoya's anger-filled expression.

He leaned over a little, his mouth only some inches away from Naoya's ears as he softly whispers.

"After all… you are so… weak."

*BOOM*

"Oh~!" Noah landed some distance away from the explosion, staring at the huge amount of cursed energy that was being spilled out from Naoya's body as he stared at Noah with bloodshot eyes.

"I'll kill you… I'LL KILL YOU! You fake imitation!"

"Ah… I broke him…" There was no fear on Noah's face except for the same mocking smile as he stared at Naoya, not caring about his power-up in the least. "It can't be helped then. Since the mind is already broken, might as well do the same with the body. Let me help you achieve complete balance in both mind and body."

AN: There might be some parts that are connected to Noah's Past from the next arc (this is the second last chapter of this arc) that MIGHT make it sound kind of confusing, but fret not as I'll write a Past Arc explaining everything—his life in the Pendragon Family, why he left, how he met with Mikoto and joined Red Clan and why he hated the Head of the Pendragon family.

Current Arc — Above heaven, under heaven, I alone am worthy of honor

Arc 2 (This one is actually divided into different smaller arcs, but I'll just write them down as different for now) — A Nun's Past

Arc 3 — A certain Fried Chicken

Arc 4 — Avatar Arc (Still in debate as I might change it with Guilty Crown)

Arc 5 — Cry of Crimson Emperor

Arc 6 — Past Arc

Arc 7 — Advancement of Crimson Monarch (This is not in DxD world, as for what world, just let it be a secret for now)

And so on… I guess this much is enough info for now as to where this story is going. Feel free to tell me if you want to add any specific arc and I'll think about it.
