Chapter 39: War Pt.3

~Seilah POV (1 day old?) ~

As I was now teleported somewhere else away from everyone, I soon see my surroundings that I'm in a beach of some kind near the forest and hearing explosion happening in the distance.

I see the rest have already started their fights with the others already…

But seeing my opponent in front of me now is one of the very dangerous ones named Wizard King or Disaster…

August…

When he saw me, he was already analyzing with a few questions about me already, "Hmm… you are Seilah from Zeref book aren't you? I wonder why you have come and also why follow the young man Seiya is it perhaps you have betrayed your creator?"

Narrowing my eyes on him I simply follow my beloved orders but at the very least he should know the reason why, "Tch… I don't follow Zeref nor I acknowledge him as my creator, my Lord and beloved is the man Seiya Parta he created me with all of Zeref knowledge and gave me purpose to my existence rather than the incomplete trash Zeref has created."

Glancing at his eyes were surely surprise at that proclamation why should I care?

I'm proud to be born.

I'm proud to be alive.

AND I'M PROUD TO BE LOVED!

Looking at the old man August I asked him a question at the very least I'm not merciless to them since my beloved requested them to be near dead but not alive, "I will give you one warning August leave now or else you will suffer the consequences we only request to capture Irene."

August narrows his eyes at me as he flares up his magic power releasing pressure on me, "I'll be damn if I let any of you capture our comrades in arms or rather kill anyone of us! I think its time to teach you invaders to leave our land and leave Seiya behind his sacrifice is needed for the looming threat we face."

Narrowing my eyes on him it looks like talk was pointless right now but I won't take my creator without a fight, "Very well then August you will be the first to lose me, [Enhancement Curse: Everlasting Boost]! Activate [R.I.P. (Rest in Peace)] boosted!"

Seeing the effect, I wanted I boosted my magic it seems to have August surprised as I know Larcade magic as I smirk at him as he was getting sleepy but not enough it seems to take him out of the fight.

Good.

I want to see how far I can do against someone like him!

Viewing him as he tries to cast a magic, I prepare another attack, "[Thorn Curse: Thorn Garden] boosted!"

August seeing that my curses of vines pop out from the trees and ground trying to capture him he took the battle to the air trying to avoid the vines going after him as they kept on the assault tracking him.

August seeing my attack with a bored look replies to me with an unamused expression, "If this is your best then surely you are heavily underestimating my power a lot demon, [Wind Magic: Rip]!"

Seeing his magic of wind ripping my vines by sending sharp winds at my vines certainly a good idea if they were normal vines…

"Splat!"

Like I said before if they were normal which they aren't since they are constantly being enhanced through my [Enhancement Curse] so if he thought I only had one curse to deal with he was sorely mistaken.

Viewing that one of his arms has been pierced off from my thorns he looks at the seriousness of his current situation.

You may be a powerful wizard August but at the end of the day…

You're a mortal like any other person.

Wizards by their nature don't really train their physical bodies even with magic boosting their defenses won't mean much if they are still hit normally by a lethal blow or fatal one.

August seems to not care as he lost one of his arms as he just kept on the attack and defend from my thorns with amused expression, "Hmm… I guess I should hurry off to defeat you demon with your [Curses] and [R.I.P. (Rest in Peace)] constantly improving it I won't be able to successfully copy it. Let's see if you handle this, [Slow Magic], [Blast], [Melt], and [Rip]!"

Seeing that all his magic spells being used on me while having the magic circle of his [Slow Magic] being used on the ground with being in its area of effect!

Next I see small amounts of fire lights around me, wind blades coming to my direction, and a small amount of orange balls of light glowing as if they were going to ignite!

Shit!

All these attacks might deal actual damage to me!

Spinning around with my ever enhancing curse in effect I quickly used my [Slippery Curse] to turn myself slippery enough for all the attacks to simply "slip" by me.

"Boom!"

"Slice!"

Already being hit by all the attacks coming towards me I managed to defend myself by slipping past most of them but unfortunately not all of them as I can see some burn marks and small cuts around my body.

But my curse [Enhancement Curse] are already enhancing my body response to recuperating healing any damaged cells at a fast pace.

When the smoked cleared in front of me when my thorns cleared the view I see around the sky trying to look for him but…

I couldn't find the bastard around here damn it!

Slamming my feet on the ground I let out my frustration on the land.

That bastard ran away from me when the fight was just started to be in my favor.

But I wasn't going to let him escape from that easily.

So, relying on my enhanced senses I tried to look for his smell all around the area focusing on where that sly old bastard might be…

Sniff…

Opening my eyes wide open I smiled as I managed to locate on his scent as I smiled at this revelation of finding him, "Oh, no you don't old man you aren't going to escape a demon that easily!"

With that I quicly rush over to his direction as I enhance my [Calamity Curse: Cyclone] using the cyclone that the wind produces to propel me even faster to the air following him as I managed to see him from the distance.

But I don't want to have my family and Lord being hurt from my magic sigh, I guess I have to turn it off for the time being.

With that I turned off my magic of [R.I.P. (Rest in Peace)] as I managed to finally get close to him as he looked surprised I managed to get near him above him, "Hello again August I didn't give you permission to leave the fight!"

Before he could respond I already began to throw a punch that was imbue with the [Calamity Curse: Earthquake] showing a tremor bubble on my fist made of shockwaves needed to create earthquakes and a hint of [Bomb Curse: Explosive] to add a more destructive effect.

When August saw this he managed to create a magical barrier sphere as I made contact with his shield not relenting on each blow made as the very air itself seems to crack at each punch I make.

I wonder how much this old man can handle against my ever-growing enhancing strength.

"Tremor!"

"Boom!"

Seeing a small crack form from his shield I wonder just how many abuse that shield can protect against even so it looks like the shockwaves managed to reach inside his shield as it looks like his hurt from it.

"Tremor!"

"Boom!"

Glancing at the magical shield soon shows a major crack against my explosions and earthquake bubbles as August tries to speak in a tired voice, "Damn it! Your strength just keeps on growing at this fast rate I won't be able to help my comrades! [Ars M-"

My eyes widen as I realize what he was about to do as I commanded him using my [Macro] on him that makes me have absolute control over him, "By my command August you will not use your [Ars Magia] on me that is my command!"

My smirk soon appears as August was forced to stop his mouth and body from activating his power up.

No way in hell I was going to let that happen on my watch.

Who in the hell lets their opponent power up if they have a chance to grow stronger than you?

Not this demon.

But with that I decided to give my all into my last strike as August could no longer defend against himself as I gave him my command, "August from this point forward lower your magical shield so that I may lay a mortal blow on you and then from that point onward you will never harm my beloved group ever again!"

August could only nod as he canceled his magical shield as he expressed a sad look acknowledging his defeat against me.

"Tremor!"

"Boom!"

With that final punch on the Wizard King he hit the ground hard enough for the whole island to shake as he was now in a crater with cracks forming around him in the center.

Well it looks like that old man is still alive good for him, but I doubt he will be able to fight anyone anytime soon so better leave and see how the others are doing.

But then again looking at my beloved fight might excite me~

Drooling a bit, I nod my head in agreement as I would watch my beloved fight instead yes that is what I shall do!

With that I used my [Stealth Magic] to fly over to my love fighting spot as I have both my hands on my face as I express a blissful expression.

I can't wait to see him in action I'm coming my love~

~Kurome POV (14 years old) ~

Hmm…

I guess looking around the forest wasn't bad I managed to find some odd fruits but I sticked with apple since I was a bit hungry from viewing everyone fight.

From looking at everyone's fights I guess they are doing fine from the looks of things I guess I was over worried for nothing but Seilah fight with August was certainly something.

Shame he had to face her of all people in a fight just adding her [Enhancement Curse] with her [Macro] it was only a matter of time before she won but first, she had to weaken him first.

"Chomp."

So, with that I decided to explore the island a bit it seems like they have inhabitants here fortunately my husband managed to move everyone around the island before things got bad for them.

Good thinking their husband.

As I was walking around out of the forest, I managed to find a village and shrug my shoulders as I decided to see what it had.

As I went inside, I have to admit the culture here was certainly different from the norm that was for sure and the people's eyes seem to be squinted as well from the people of Fiore.

Now that I mention it does seem that people from Fiore do have bigger eyes don't, they?

How odd is this world is?

As I was wondering around the village, I managed to find a little girl with green hair as she had a look of despair on her face and her body was thin…

Glancing at this I saw that she was in some kind of alley way of this village in between two buildings.

Remembering my time when my sister and me were put into different holding cells when we were sold as slaves as I remember that painful expression.

I used to be like her I was weak and defenseless if I didn't have my sister with me at all times I would have been like that girl having difficulty living in this world.

Ok its decided then since I have the power, I will help her out.

After all, Seiya has done the same for me plus he wouldn't mind me helping her out now wouldn't he?

It seems that happens to be specialty helping girls at their dire times from young ages.

That is completely normal right to help little girls in need right.

With that I grabbed a few apples with me as I went towards the girl as I sensed her aura seems to be a bit low as she looks at me cautiously as she managed to say to me, "Who… are… you…"

Smiling at her I reply in a sweet voice as I hand her some fruit that she soon takes to eat, "I'm Kurome Parta, a wandering wife and fighter it's a pleasure to meet you…"

The green hair girl who seems to be 8 years old replies to me hesitantly at me probably because I'm a foreigner here, "Brandish μ… that is my name miss…"

Tiliting my head towards her I just smile to comfort her, "That name sounds nice what are you doing here then Brandish?"

Brandish just swallows her apple as she just begins to devour it like she hasn't eaten anything before as she tears up at the end, "I… I… don't have anywhere to go… my magic causes problems for others… and no one wants me… sniff…"

Frowning at this I simply hug the poor girl giving her my promise to her like my sister has done before, "In that case if you have nowhere to go how about joining our family I'm sure my sister and the rest would be happy to have you with us and also my husband will be able to help you with anyway he can."

Brandish looking at me with clear shock at this couldn't help but cry in tears of joy as I patted her hair gently ensuring her safety, "Don't worry young Brandish I promise that we will take care of you and help you the best of our ability so have no fear."

With that it looks like she fell asleep under my arms as I began to carry her with me back to the island where the fighting was going on from a safe distance.

I wonder if this is what it feels like to help someone in need…

It's a nice feeling and Erza and Kagura will have a new friend to play with and help along the way.

I can understand why Seiya wants to help people time to time it's just a good feeling to enjoy plus I can teach Brandish different things with us around the world or others.
