Akito looked inside the house and it was a perfect representation of ancient Japan.
"I believe you'll be taking a leave from school, right?"
"Of course."
School? Nobody cared about that anymore.
"How much money do you have?" He asked as he sat down politely.
"Tell me what you want and I'll see. Do you intend to stock up on a lot of food?"
He nodded, "Not only food but gear, medicine, and knives. Maybe guns but sadly we can't buy them I'll just scavenge some handguns during the chaos. I'm also trying to think of a light armor or something to shield ourselves from the zombies' bites. This is off the top of my head but we have time to think."
"Also a bunch of seeds in case we have to move to the countryside."
He had downloaded a lot of files on how to farm and stuff. But these were just preparations in case they had to stay too long.
It wasn't like he was in a hurry to get guns, didn't Shizuka's friend stash a lot of guns in her house secretly?
Zombies weren't the real danger for him and Saeko, it was humans and Quest Failure.
"You know how to use guns?" She asked with interest.
"No."
"..."
"What? It's still better to have guns than not have them," He ignored her stare and took a sip from the glass of water she had brought.
The cold water ran down his throat relaxing his body.
"I guess that's true," Saeko too sat down in front of him. "Do you have any ide-
"We aren't enough."
Akito suddenly said with a serious expression which caused Saeko to tilt her head in confusion.
"We need to create a small team of capable people to help us, only people we can trust. I can only trust you to find some people we should save." He shook his head in regret, "There's only so much the two of us can do alone."
"Well, To be honest, I don't have a lot of friends."
"Oh..."
Awkward silence filled the room which was broken by Akito.
"Well, Do you know any doctors or people well informed in the medical area? Someone we can trust that won't betray us. Someone who can save our lives from diseases and stuff, someone like that is our top priority."
The moment Saeko heard of 'Doctor' and 'Trust' she thought of the busty blonde school nurse, while clumsy one couldn't deny her medical skills.
Since she often went to the infirmary with kendo club members that got injured she was well acquainted with Shizuka.
"The school nurse at my school is a very good doctor and I believe she's harmless to us, we can trust her."
He emphasized the trust on purpose. He knew Saeko had no friends and since she knew of the apocalypse there would be no reason to go to school.
But if Saeko didn't go to school then who the fuck would save Shizuka?
Of course, he could go and save her himself but he wasn't arrogant enough to believe he could breeze through a crowd of zombies without help. How much stamina could he increase in seven days exactly?
He was quite thankful for the time freeze, he could take his time increasing his strength here peacefully.
He returned his gaze towards Saeko, "Can you help me train?"
Saeko silently looked at him for a few seconds before slowly nodding her head.
"Follow me to the sparring space."
Of course, considering her background she had a whole area dedicated to fights and duels.
As they were walking to the sparring hall she asked him, "Are you comfortable in those clothes?"
"I'm fine, but what about you?" His eyes moved over her, she was wearing a black tank top and sky-blue baggy pants.
She nodded indicating that they weren't a problem.
She raised her wooden sword and pointed it at Akito, "Let's spar first."
Akito nodded and brought his palm facing towards her.

[1st PoV]
This was the first time I was fighting someone seriously.
I was excited.
Saeko stood there with a stoic expression and the air around her had turned chilly the moment she raised her wooden sword.
Remembering everything I experienced after gaining the experience of ten years of martial arts training, I clenched my left fist and brought forward my palm, facing towards her.
The moment I nodded indicating I was ready she disappeared and appeared in front of me!
I was startled but my eyes slowly took in the approach of the wooden sword that was aimed at my shoulder in slow motion. Quickly deflecting it with my forearm I moved my clenched fist and opened it up in a palm, and launched a strike at her defenseless chin ignoring the slight numbness I felt from the pain.
Her eyes were filled with surprise.
*Smack*
My eyes widened by the hard contact I just felt, It didn't feel like striking flesh or bones but rather... wood?
What!?
The wooden sword that I had deflected was now blocking the palm strike I just sent!
She... Is it because of her Sword Mastery?
I couldn't resist glancing at her hand that was holding the wooden sword and my eyes widened.
Did she just twirl the sword around to block the strike? This kind of accuracy and control was terrifying!
Unfortunately, I made a fatal mistake and got distracted mid-battle which Saeko didn't miss and used the chance to strike my chest.
I stumbled backward and dropped on one knee while gasping for breath but surprisingly the pain didn't last for more than a few seconds.
Was it due to the body cleansing?

[Narrator's PoV]
Saeko looked toward Akito who was gasping for breath and was amazed.
The thin body that seemed to have no muscles were hiding so much strength. The baby-like skin that was even smoother than hers was extremely tough!
If she had underestimated him it could've been her gasping for breath instead of him.
She raised her hand that she was using to fight and saw that it was trembling due to pain.
The moment he blocked her strike she was surprised, she hadn't even expected that. But thankfully the Sword Mastery allowed her instantly block the palm attack but the force of the palm still hurt her.
Thankfully she knew to instantly end the fight and Akito's inexperience helped her.
Of course, the outcome would be completely different if she was using a real sword.
But her eyes widened in surprise when Akito got up while coughing a bit.
What she didn't know was that Akito wasn't even using his main martial arts, only the basic moves that required no ki.
Should Akito have used the little ki present in his body for any of the main moves of the Divine Heavenly Destruction to attack Saeko then even with the meager amount of ki she would've been ripped to shreds before she could blink.
Currently, Saeko was no different from a glass cannon to Akito. She was extremely strong and skilled but her body was still that of a normal human.
There was a famous line in the Manwha of Gosu, which was a murim world filled with experts, "There was no-one in the world that could take a Divine Heavenly Destruction Technique head-on and live."
This was said even when there were beast-like people who fought half-dead with broken bones, damaged organs, etc.
How could a normal human compare?
But it wasn't like he was here to kill Saeko, he was a peaceful guy who just wanted to increase stamina and combat experience to survive while completing the Main Quest.
It wasn't like he would madly start massacring zombies in the future for the rewards of the Sub-Quest.
