The Golden King

I couldn't help but feel surprised at Alaya's reaction, I didn't expect this at all to think hearing D's name would make her react this badly, it's also quite enlightening to think that D and Alaya knows each other.

"You know D?" I asked and crossed both of my arms.

With a look of irritation on her beautiful face, she replied. "Yes, unfortunately that 'thing' is a threat to humanity, there's no doubt as much as I dislike that 'thing' presence there is little I could do much about her."

It was clear how much D frustrates her, not that I can blame her, it's D after all was there anything to explain?

It's like her character is made solely to irritate those who are in higher power.

"So, she more powerful than you." I stated, it wasn't a question but merely a fact, if someone like Root rivals her, then it's obvious that someone like Alaya is no match.

She's nothing but a goddess of humanity or at least the closest of being one, still I'm quite curious of what's D true nature, although I do know her from the novel, however it only stated that she's the strongest there is, but her orgin was left unsaid.

Alaya was annoyed when I mentioned that D is more powerful than her, but didn't say anything to deny the fact.

"We do not talk about that 'thing' here." She insisted with a frown.

I blinked a couple times before replying. "But you're the one who started the conversation about her thou-"

"Quiet!"

"Alright, alright geez.."

"Anyway, let's go back to the main topic, give me back my servant." Alaya demanded.

I look at her and smiled. "No."

"Why?" Alaya frowned.

"Because he doesn't want to go back being your janitor, you can ask him yourself." I replied.

"It isn't his choice." Alaya pressed.

"Oh, but it's his my dear Alaya, you can't force him while he's in this place nor you can force me either." I wasn't gonna accept her demand just because she asked me, I'm no doormat.

Alaya frowned deepened even more, then went silent for a minute before saying. "You really won't give him to me?"

"I'm afraid so." I said while maintaining the smile on my face.

"Alright, fine then I'll give up." Alaya once again did the unexpected causing me to feel surprised.

What's with this woman, everytime she opens her mouth I would learn new things from her, my expectations from the will of humanity is wayyyy to different than the what's in front of me.

But then again I shouldn't learn to assume much.

"Just like that..?" I couldn't contain the surprised from my voice, I honestly thought that it would take a lot of convince her to stop demanding Emiya from me.

Alaya nodded. "Yes, because clearly you won't give him up no?"

That's technically correct, I nodded. "That's right."

"There's no point talking about it then." Alaya replied and then continued. "I'll just have to use force."

As soon as she dropped those words, I found myself speechless and then thought. 'Of course…what was I expecting? I take back what I thought about her, she's really stubborn.'

Shaking my head and replied. "Alright, if that's what you want go on, but let me warn you though there's consequences."

-Alaya-

Alaya hesitated, if this was before she gained emotions, there's no way she would have hesitated, not to mention talking to this man is quite pleasant, if possible she doesn't want to be enemies with him for some personal reason.

She was conflicted, at this point she didn't know what to do. After a long minute of thinking hard, eventually she decided that she couldn't decide and she would think about it later.

"I changed my mind, I'll decide what to do about my counter guardian later."

Okay she changed her way too much, I know women are confusing but this is another level, either way thinking deep about this is pointless.

That's why I'll just act like this is normal. "Alright, since you can't decide and you're here why not try browsing at my shop, maybe who knows you want to buy something."

Alaya shook her head and answered. "I don't need anything."

Hearing that I smiled. "Are you sure about that?"

"Yes."

"Then let me change your mind."

And I did.

"How is this possible?! How do you have something like this?!" Alaya stated at the holographic screen in front of her.

She was looking at an item that could guarantee humanity survival toward Types, but the prices were ridiculous but she paid no heed as she wasn't really paying attention towards how much it is.

I leaned at the counter and took a look at the price and couldn't help but cringe, that kind of amount makes my current credits look small in comparison.

It was a universal destroyer weapon that could ignore all concepts making the target similar to mortal, it doesn't matter how powerful they are as long as all their abilities are canceled then they're good as dead.

I'm pretty sure that this would also work with D, the problem is the price.

Even with the discount I don't think I could reach that amount yet.

"We have everything in the shop, so don't be surprised."

Alaya wanted this weapon, her desire for it was too obvious for me to see, I mean she wasn't trying to conceal it.

"I want this." She blurted out her desire.

Me too, however let's be honest here as much as I wanted her to buy this weapon because I would get 50% of the original price, there's no way she would be able to afford it even if she sells everything she had.

I really don't want to discourage her that she couldn't buy this, as she's a potential rich customer there's no way I'd outright tell her that she can't afford this weapon of mass extinction.

It wasn't like she's penniless, it's just the item of her interest is way too expensive.

Imagine telling a customer in front of their face that they can't afford this, not only would it offend them, the shop would lose credibility and also a loss of a potential customer.

As an entrepreneur you need to be respectful and polite to a potential customer.

Until they act like Karen.

In the end Alaya couldn't buy the weapon of her desire because she lacked the means to buy it and settled for something normal.

Desserts, recommended by yours truly.

Since she can't decide what to buy other than that weapon I end up recommending desserts to her, at first she was reluctant saying that it was not needed.

However, at the perfect time she refused and her stomach made a loud noise, making her confused.

And she found out that her humanoid body is more human than expected as it could experience hunger.

In the end she eventually caved in and became a dessert lover in the process, there's no turning back from this.

From this moment she would always crave for more desserts.

Somehow I managed to have a friendly relationship with Alaya, at least I know that she isn't entirely hostile to me, as she promised to come back.

Although I'm quite disappointed that I only managed to get a few points from her as she's very reluctant converting what she owns as she didn't completely trust me or the shop yet, next time definitely I would make sure that she spends at least tens of thousands credit here.

I looked behind me and saw Emiya leaning at the wall nearby, I said. "From all things I expected from her, I can't believe Alaya was that type of person, totally different from my mental image of her."

Emiya let out a sigh and replied. "Trust me, I didn't know Alaya was like that. I've worked with her for centuries yet I never expected her to have a personality like that as a human."

Yeah, even her former janitor is in disbelief.

When I was about to reply suddenly the entrance door of the shop opened, making me wonder if Alaya came back for something but I was wrong as soon I saw the customer who went inside.

The person has blonde hair, golden armor, an arrogant smirk…wait the minute!

This person looks so familiar….. but it couldn't be him because this person in the entrance is a….

"Gilgamesh…!" Emiya muttered loudly.

Gilgamesh heard it and stared at Emiya with a bit of interest. "Oh? You know this King mongrel?"

Woman!

I can't believe it, a female version of Gilgamesh here!

With a confident yet arrogant smile she said. "So mongrels, tell me what this place is."

The King Of Heroes has arrived!

FemGil is here! I've been planning this for a while but finally it's here xD.

Multiverse is a strange place, it's not surprising to see a female version of Gilgamesh.
