Beth parked first and led the way to her apartment with Fiona following behind. The apartment looked smaller than what she had been expecting. They climbed a fleet of stairs, and the further they moved, the more disgusted Fiona felt. She hadn't been in a low area like this not to discuss a poor apartment like this. She was finding it hard to believe, she was acquainted with someone who stays in this sort of apartment.
Oblivious to the thoughts going on in Fiona's head, Beth smiled at her. "Welcome to my home."
Fiona forced a smile, "Thank you. You have a nice home." She said with gritted teeth, staying fixed at the door. The apartment was small, and she could see most of everything in on glance. Her wall held her pictures, and that of her and Jack. The sitting room was small that it occupied just two chairs, with a small television. It looked like a house Fiona's maid could afford.
