Mia stared at him, fully attentive. It was a privilege to hear this from Declan, and she wouldn't give that up. She remembered that he usually declined interviews, so many people had no idea how he grew his business. All they knew was that he was a successful businessman and kept rising every day. He was a mystery to the world.
"I kept it a secret from my friends for a long time, you know, out of fear of failure."
"You were afraid to fail?" she questioned.
He smiled back at her. "Of course, I was afraid to fail. I had put my heart and soul into developing the software. Many of my prototypes crashed, and I kept trying not to give up, even when I got tired. My first breakthrough came at a point when I almost gave up."
"You almost gave up?" she questioned again.
Declan chuckled. "Why do you keep repeating what I said?"
