Abigail didn’t go back to dine again. She came out of the restaurant. On the way out, she called Lilian and informed her, “Lilian, I am going home.”
“What? Why? You…”
Lilian, on the other end, became anxious. She didn’t want to be alone with Victor, but Abigail left her with him. She was kind of upset. She wanted to curse her, but Abigail didn’t give her time to finish the sentence, “I am not feeling well. I am sorry.” With that, the call ended.
Shocked and puzzled, Lilian looked at the screen with her mouth wide open. She gradually closed her mouth and gritted her teeth in fury.
Victor was worried to see her infuriated look. He asked, “What happened? Where is your cousin?”
“She left.” She glared at Victor angrily.
Victor was taken aback by the hostility in her eyes. Why was she mad at him? Was it his fault that her cousin left early?
