[Differential]

A quality that differentiates a being from anyone else, being intrinsic to one's soul, and unable to be stolen, inherited or passed on. The famous Golden Finger, Cheat, System, etc, that we see in other novels.

[Fated]

A soul that posses a possibility to achieve unprecedented feats. Often called "Son / Daughter of Heavens", in other works. This happens when a soul was powerfull in the previous life, and, for some reason, during the process of reincarnation wasn't properly cleansed, allowing the next life to inherit additinal talent that may be hidden or not. However, because they weren't properly cleansed, in most cases, the overcharged soul can damage the fragile unborn body, causing disabilities. That's why many [Fated] were once [Cripples]. The Heavens may willingly create more Fated, but it has serious and dangerous consequences. Newer souls have a greater chance to be born become a [Fated].

[Regular]

A person that, unlike the [Fated], they were properly cleansed in the reincarnation process. Their talents can range from Terrible to Great Genius.

[Cripples]

A person that has, naturally or artificially, completely or heavily damged meridians or dantian. [Cripples] cannot cultivate, so their talent is considered Useless. Disabilities of the Mortal World like amputees, blindness or deafness are not considered more than slightly inconvenient in the Cultivation World after the cultivator achieve a certain level, so powerfull organizations don't really mind accepting disciples with Mortal World disabilities, if they have the talent.

[Karma]

[Karma] is the debt of love, hate, gratitude or guilt a soul have with another. Although [Karma] affects Mortals very lightly, the stronger an Immortal is, the more important [Karma] becomes. Having positive [Karma] affects your fortune and fate positively, negative [Karma] affects your fortune and fate negatively.

[Righteous]

A faction that believes cultivation should follow a set of rules that respect the Heavens, life and the other cultivators. Extremists believe that exterminating every not [Righteous] is their life's mission.

[Evil]

A faction that believes in the motto "Might makes right.". They believe that sacrificing others and harming others is fine as long as they get more power. They believe that most of the [Righteous] are hypocrites.

[Neutral]

Most [Neutral] factions want nothing to do with the conflict between [Righteous] and [Evil]. Their actions may align with the [Righteous] at one time, then with the [Evil] at another. Most [Neutral] organizations can interact with both factions, but they may be accused of being [Evil] and attacked by the [Righteous] when they believe it's convenient or simply be targets to the [Evil]. However, [Neutral] organizations tend to help each other much more than organizations of the other factions.
