An ex

Outside of the airport, Kaito was patiently waiting for them and as soon as he saw Akira, his eyes seemed to have lightened up with joy. However, that joy immediately died down when he saw Akira smiling as he talked to Zaelek.

For some reason, it seemed as if the trip had brought them closer together and he wasn't entirely wrong in thinking like this.

Taking a deep breath in, Kaito ran towards them and tightly hugged Akira as he whispered in the man's ear, "I missed you."

Akira was clearly taken aback but he didn't push the man away. Shockingly enough, Akira was getting used to Kaito and his clingy behavior, no longer feeling repulsed by it.

"It must have been a long flight," Kaito continued as he loosened his arms around the man, "Are you okay? Do you need to rest?"

"I'm okay," Akira reassured, "I had plenty of rest on the plane."
