Kevin's black hole
Natalie was at the door of the workshop garden when she spotted Javier stepping out. A smile crossed her face when she noticed how casually he was dressed with his outfit being very different from his usual Chief of Security suit. The way he shook his head before noticing her puzzled her, but he flashed a grin when their eyes met.
"Hey, Natalie!" He hurried and gave her a one arm hug.
"Are you going somewhere?"
He scratched the back of his head, "Yeah, there are still a few items on Kevin's shopping list. I offered to go buy them."
"Aw, that's so sweet of you!"
"It's the least I could do. He refused to take any rent from me for sleeping in the workshop."
She was relieved to see Kevin and Javier getting along. Kevin needed a reliable friend, and Javier needed a break from the Valois mansion. The combination of their circumstances seemed to be working well.
