Dancing the Sorrow Away
Alonso caught Natalie off guard by bringing her back to the hostess club where she performed. As they pulled up, the first thing that caught her eye was the lengthy line of people waiting to get inside.
His white teeth flashed under the streetlight noticing her impressed expression, "Business is doing well."
"Oh, I can see that!"
The trip out of Beverly Hills alone had already lifted Natalie's spirits and going clubbing with Alonso was an unexpected bonus. She didn't expect to be happy coming back to this club for obvious reasons, but it had taken on another meaning for her in reality—this was the place that had brought the two of them closer.
"What are you thinking?" he asked after he opened the car door and helped her out.
She grinned, "We've made some interesting memories around here. I was reflecting on them."
Alonso opened his coat on one side, drawing her closer and covering her up.
"What's that for?" she laughed.
