She thought that all of her stress was released between the sheets and then again under the hot shower thanks to her husband's extended care. But with the club's music ringing in her ears all night, Natalie hardly got any sleep at all. She only tried her best to stay perfectly still in Alonso's arms so she wouldn't disturb him.
"Hmm," he nuzzled his nose along her neck when the first rays of sun illuminated the room.
"It's still early; you can sleep for another hour."
Propping himself up on his elbow, he gazed down at her with sleepy eyes.
"Did you manage to get any sleep at all?"
She shrugged.
His eyebrows knitted together, "Why didn't you wake me up?"
Natalie grinned then clasped both hands behind her neck, "Maybe I just like admiring my sleeping husband. You look so peaceful when you're catching those Zs."
