Rachel hugged Xavier so tightly. "X, please kill him . . . " she said so softly it was almost a whisper.
Xavier's eyes widened for a moment. Surprised, of course, because the Rachel he had known all along was a gentle woman who hated violence the most. In fact, it was this woman who made Xavier quit and get out of his violent world.
Xavier's hand rose to gently caress the black mane that fell over her back. "If that brings you relief, I'll gladly do it for you with my own hands."
Rachel tightened her embrace, hugging him tighter.
"Kill him out of my mind, X," she whispered. "He doesn't want to go. He's always in my head, even in my dreams."
