This is a tale of revenge, betrayal, love and ambition. "All is fair in Love and War" Throw Powers into the mix and it is Carnage! ___ EXCERPT___ Gorak! 'Oh sh*t!', her eyes go wide. 'What is he doing here? He escaped?' Stunned by her naked beauty, the attacking Gorak stops, staring. She looks like a goddess! Lush pink skin glowing under the sunlight. Those heavenly mounds on her chest with mouth-watering nipples. Well-framed body, with a beautiful, soft ass that vibrates gently as she moves. How could anyone look this gorgeous?! Worse off, she was dripping wet. He wanted to lick her dry! Seeing that he is just standing there, Dela seizes her chance to run. She hurls her sword at him, and he dodges, but then she begins to wade through the water to escape through a tunnel deep within. He wouldn't let her go. Reaching into the water, he pulls her out and slams her against the rocky wall, holding her in place. What was he thinking? She betrayed him so cruelly 2,000 years ago, and helped the enemy take him down! He came here to get his revenge, but what was he doing now? Drooling over her? How stupid. "Mnh... let me go!" she struggled to break free. "I loved you. Took good care of you. But what did you do? You betrayed me the second you got the chance! And what for? A cheap chance at Power?!" He yelled the last sentence in her face. She whimpered, shutting her eyes, her lips quivering. Those lips... "I'm not afraid of you!", she responded in defiance She would fight to the death. She balled her fists, making them into flaming fists. She was strong, but she was still just a Guardian. He was a god. This fight would last only a second. "Still so feisty. Your newfound powers cannot save you." He held Dela in place, keeping both her hands above her head with one hand, pressing down the rest of her body with his own body against the rocky wall. As she struggled to break free, her soft body rubbed against his hard one. It was distorting his thoughts "Hold still!", he commanded. Shocked, she stopped moving. A cold sweat broke out on her forehead as she realised what he meant. He took his sword to her throat. It lightly touched her skin and left a small cut. Some blood trickled down. "Say your prayers." She shut her eyes again, quivering, waiting for her death. It was finally the time to kill her. He had planned his revenge through the last 2,013 years of his life. How he would enjoy the fear on her face in her last moments, right before he slit her throat, but... Why couldn't he do it? What was stopping him? Gorak had never hesitated to kill anyone in his life before. He was genuinely confused as to why he just couldn't do it. "She betrayed you, remember? Do it, fool! Just do it.", he mumbled under his breath. Those lips... He gulped hard. He wanted to kiss them again! He lowered his sword and pressed down upon their softness, hungrily eating them out in a sweet french kiss. Deepening further, he dropped his sword, freeing his right hand to arc Dela's head, holding it in place so that his tongue reaches into the deepest depths of her soul, swallowing her whole. Wide-eyed, Dela is shocked by the kiss. It ushers in a flood of memories. 2,013year old memories. She embraces him, pushing herself up against him. Her hands are free but what is she doing? Making out with her killer!? ........ #r18 *Book cover credit: ArtStation*

I Love You!

***The Next Morning***

Gorak looks at the peacefully sleeping Dela. Her pearly smooth face holds a morning glow under the late morning sunlight that seeped in through the windows.

Her long eyelashes rest beautifully over her shut eyelids in an exhausted sleep.

'So beautiful!', he quietly observes.

'She must be completely exhausted'.

They had done it all evening and through the night up until it was nearly dawn. He didn't think she could hold out that long. She was pretty strong. He was impressed.

He smiles to himself, pleased.

Brushing some loose strands of hair away from her face, Gorak hunches over Dela to plant a soft kiss on her cheek.

"mhh... mm...", she murmurs, waking up.

Her eyelids gracefully flutter open to see Gorak's strikingly handsome face and awesome naked torso leaning slightly over her.

"How are you feeling?", he asks with concern, his hand still caressing her cheek and neck.

Instantly, she remembers all the events of their wild night.

*gasp!*

She couldn't believe how out of control she got. Her body had gone insane for him. It was a crazy night.

Her face goes red hot and steam whistles its way out of her ears, dispelling the heat like a choo-choo train.

Embarrassed, she takes both her palms to her face to hide behind them.

"Hah!...", Gorak chuckles.

'How adorable!'. His fated was truly the sweetest.

Gorak's chuckle makes Dela all the more flustered. She shyly averts her gaze from him, sinking lower beneath the covers.

"Are you embarrassed?", he smirks mischievously before lowering himself further to whisper seductively to her.

"I seem to recall someone screaming out loud abominable things like 'deeper...', 'right there...oh!', 'f*** me!', and my personal best... 'god-f**king awesome'!"

He winks at her with a mischievous, teasing smile on his face, showing how much he was enjoying her 'wake' of shame reactions.

As expected, Dela gets even more flustered, shrinking further into herself.

"Seriously, when you say things like that, I just can't go easy on you. You set me loose!", continues Gorak, more seriously.

He lowers himself to kiss the crook of her neck tenderly, his hand, slowly running up her body to gently fondle her melons under the covers.

Taking a firm hold on one of her breasts, he says, staring straight into her eyes.

"Dela, You will be the death of me." He squeezes, planting a kiss on her lips.

Running a hand across her flat, smooth and soft belly, Gorak gets a hold of her waist, gently pulling her backside into him.

'He wants more?!', Dela is alarmed.

'Oh no! I can't take anymore!

Does he not grow tired? Oh of course he doesn't, he's a god...

...but I'm just human! I could die!', she panics within herself.

"No... not anymore. I can't take it."

Dela begins a feeble protest, weakly attempting to pull away from Gorak's grip and shifting her body a bit out of reflex. The moment she moves, she is immediately hit by a terrible pain in her waist.

"Ah!", she screams, stiffening up and freezing in place, overcome with great pain. It hurt so much, she couldn't dare to move.

Shocked, Gorak stops.

"Are you alright??...

I apologise. I may have overdone it last night."

He summons his powers in a warm red glow about his hand, placing it on Dela's lower belly, he begins to heal her up.

A cool, soothing sensation comes over her, rapidly dulling away the pain.

"Hahh...", she sighs in relief as she can finally breathe.

...

"Feeling better?", Gorak asks.

"Yes, but... that did hurt very much.", Dela moans pitifully, a dramatic tear in her eye, while Gorak heals her.

"I am truly sorry. I should have done this before you woke up. I did not realise it would hurt this much.", apologises Gorak again, regretfully.

"I worry that you might not be able to get around as easily for a while.

Though the pain leaves quickly, it would take a few hours to restore you to your full health and strength. Don't bother to get out of bed at all today. You need your rest.", he explains and instructs like a doctor.

"Mnh.", Dela nods, compliant, thinking how convenient it was that Gorak could heal her with his powers.

His face looked so remorseful and concerned at the moment, he seemed like a completely different Gorak from the evil conqueror she had first set her eyes on.

He was rather so kind. So good to her. Getting to know him better, she had found that he was capable of kindness, of mercy and dare she say, of love.

He cared for her. This is why she had fallen for him.

"Thank you... for caring for me.", she says to him.

"Is the fiery Dela touched by my kindness?", Gorak teased her. He had never really seen her so compliant.

"With the look on your face, if I didn't know better, I would think you had feelings for me!", he teased, being ridiculous.

"And... and what if I did?", asks Dela looking down, her face flushed.

Gorak is surprised by her unexpectedly positive comeback, but he knew it couldn't be true. She couldn't really love him now, could she? She didn't act like she did before they slept together, so he did not believe it.

"No... I don't think I would be so lucky-", he responds, sighing regretfully.

"..." Dela responds with silence still looking downwards and getting redder and redder in the face with her thoughts.

'How can I say it? I have to say it... No, I can't! But I can't just give it up again...

No! Stop. Focus Dela, just say it.'

"Okay. You're all good now.", says Gorak, feeling accomplished.

He raises himself from his focused, bent position to look at Dela and notices she's still looking away from him and seems to be muttering something to herself deep in thought.

He hopes she isn't feeling awkward about all the fun they had last night or feeling so uncomfortable she would rather want to push him away.

He had to make the mood lighter fast. Get her comfortable and happy again.

Lowering himself over Dela once again, her takes her face in his right hand and lifts it up to make her look at him.

"Now you're all better, want to go again? I promise to work even harder this time to make you feel-",

"I love you!", says Dela to Gorak's face in a hushed, rushed tone.

Gorak freezes in place, his smirk turning into shock as he cannot believe his ears.

"W-What??!"
