Dela had hit the finite stage!
____
To Gorak, it is the best news yet. His fated had hit the finite stage! He could finally make her his, forever.
In fact, he was speeding over to her right now to get it done, but unknown to him, the designated hunters of the Keepers Council were onto him.
Energised, Gorak orders designated forces in his army to quickly take captives and complete the summoning of a Chambers of Tortures on planet Er for torture and enslavement of the poor inhabitants of Er while he hurries back with the majority of his armies.
"Capture, maim, torture and bruise. Kill only with express permission. We need as many as possible alive."
He orders his fierce, bloodthirsty dark army authoritatively, and with that, Gorak leaves, travelling millions of light-years in a second as he charts his course back towards Earth. To his fated.
____
Meanwhile...
the designated hunters of the Keeper's Council track and locate Gorak and his armies on their way back to Earth.
"Found him.", a dutiful female voice notified.
"Excellent. Shall we engage?", responds a confident male voice.
"The sooner, the better, I say.", a third voice laced with mocking, yet delightful anticipation adds on, eager for battle.
Sharply, they follow after Gorak unnoticed.
____
From planet Er, Gorak and his dreadful host of dark armies, numbering in millions, travel faster than the speed of light, first to the next closest conquered planet of mortals; Nabius, to teleport themselves to Earth by an enormous portal in the Chambers of Tortures.
Quickly making their way to the Chambers of Tortures on the utterly dessimated planet of Nabius, they transport themselves back home to the Fortress of Tortures headquarters on Earth, in a flash, by a massive portal in the Chambers.
______
"We lost him.", observes Fiyah, Keeper of Fire, once Gorak and his armies disappear through the portal.
"No worries. We know his destination. Earth.", responds Mmiri, Keeper of Water and life, calmly. She had locked in Gorak's final destination. Even though they had lost the trace of his aura, there was no way he could elude them anymore.
They were advanced, high-level gods without an army of dark forces to stall them, so they could easily and smoothly teleport wherever, whenever.
And that, is what they do.
Powering up in an amazing burst of energy, the three powerful beings disappear into thin air as they teleport. Their destination?
... Earth.

***Location: EARTH, Fortress of Tortures***
Dela stood staring out the balcony of the dreary Fortress of tortures, which had now become her home, overlooking the vast expanse of burning land around. Her room was high up so she could see the entire jagged, rocky landscape.
The areas that had no jagged rocks had pools of volcanic lava eating deeper into the ground, save for the long aisle that ran straight from the distant gates of the Kingdom, all the way down to the foot of the dark castle... if it was at all a castle.
And all this lava... It came from Gorak, randomly throwing his red lightning around in his rage.
The red lightning was so fierce, it would tear all the way down from the skies to the ground, and when it hit the ground, it would fry the earth until it melted into lava!
The power of gods was truly insane.
She wondered why she hadn't died from the heat. Maybe it was because Gorak made her wear these thin, translucent scarves for clothes... or because she was stored high up in the tower, far away from the grounds.
A kept woman. Gorak's queen.
The villian's lover.
Gorak, being a god, was able to bring about the most unlikely occurrences and occasion the most astounding phenomenon. Dela was surrounded by danger all around, yet, whatever the case, she was always safe.
He would always protect her because he treasured her. She knew that much. His overprotective desires had placed her high up in the tower, far away from the flaming grounds, the lava, the smoke, the red lightning, the monstrous beasts... A pretty, unscathed damsel.
Gorak, though he was a villainous conqueror, had turned out to be an amazing lover and she had fallen for him. She had accepted him too, and given all of herself to him.
So even though he had destroyed and tortured her people, and wrecked her lands, here she was staring impatiently out the balcony, anticipating his safe return...
She, the formidable Delara of the West World. A warrior and a hero. The former queen of these destroyed lands, and most of all, the fearless defender of her people.
She had turned her back on them...
Dela's sense of honour and duty to humanity would not let her live out her lucky existence freely. It was morally wrong and irresponsible, no matter how she thought about it.
One might say she ought to forgive herself for many reasons. After all, her West World army lost the war fair and square against Gorak, and she herself was only lucky to be left alive, of all the warriors of the West World who fought bravely to their brutal deaths....
You could say she died along with them back then, and then she got a new lease on life. Yeah, Dela had also attempted mentally to afford herself of this excuse, but still, no matter what, she bore some guilt within her for abandoning her people.
Even so, she just couldn't stop herself from loving Gorak.
With all the insanely bizarre experiences she'd had since her capture, it was hard to tell definitely whether she was lucky or unlucky to have been left alive, that is, until she began her whirlwind romance with the demon conqueror himself, Gorak.
'BUT IT WAS ALL WORTH IT FOR IMMORTALITY!', her brain shamelessly reminds her.
Indeed it was. And not just a bland, loveless, uncertain life of immortality, but immortality with Gorak! That could only be described as a dream!
For this dream, she would shamelessly abandon all of humanity to their doom, as her heart, and all her love was now sworn to an undying future with him.
____
Now, an impossible dream was just moments from being achieved.
She had hit the Finite stage. All that was left was for Gorak to hurry home and make her immortal. Invincible!
Like him, she would be immortal. Like him, she would have powers and like him, she would be able to conquer worlds.
Yes, gods had the power to do this. Make guardians to help them carry out their duties and delegate to them just a small percentage of their powers.
A small percentage, because only a god's body can handle the amount of power given to gods by the Creator. But that small percentage would be far more than enough, as it would make the guardian invincible to every other species, except gods.
It was an insane amount of power, but Gorak had no problems entrusting them to his fated, Dela.
And she could hardly wait, standing out on this balcony on the tips of her toes, staring into the skies eagerly for the moment of Gorak's arrival...
She whispers a silent farewell prayer:
"Sorry world. Delara is gone. Dela lives on."
___
Suddenly, a hole in the skies tears open in the usual dramatic yet gut-wrenchingly terrifying paraphernalia of Gorak's arrival, sharply breaking Dela out of her reverie.
"He's back!"
