Vanished Into The Air

"Is... is it finished? Did we get her?" Eden speaks in a low voice. A few seconds after being cut by Eden's spear, Eden and Rudy see Meryna still breathing despite being cut into two. From the shoulder to the bottom.

Then, they see the pink thread that's connecting the two parts of the body that's cut in half. The two parts slowly connect into one, but Rudy decides to blow her off with more explosives. It was blowing her to bits. 

Rudy plans to prevent her body from merging together so he decides to blow her body part. Since killing her is useless, Rudy tries to prevent her from moving. Rudy fires more and more missiles into the sky. Soon to homing towards Meryna.

The two figures clash with each other. As it was a part of their routine, they both knew their opponent's moves, and when to hit as they both kept clashing and dodging. But the difference is, Hutogi, one of the figures had a hard time against his opponent.

("He's faster, he's stronger... Like the fight before, I can't see his opening!") Ten, the other figure that's fighting against Hutogi, swings his machete at great speed. Hutogi on the other hand, has to be in a defensive stance as he's cornered into the wall.

Ten, with the M9 in his other hand, shoots Hutogi as he sees an opening. Hutogi deflects most of the bullet, but one bullet passes through as he has a hard time keeping up with Ten's machete.

The bullet hit Hutogi's ribcage, and Hutogi can't help but groan in pain. The adrenaline makes his muscles uncontrollable as he gives the strong slash. Ten decides not to clash against it and evades Hutogi. Hutogi's Slash just cut the multiple rides and games in an amusement park.

Hutogi felt Ten's presence on his left, he swung his sword once. Not Ten but another building in its vicinity. From Hutogi's perspective, Ten was nowhere to be seen, as if he'd vanished into the air. Hutogi once again senses the figure behind him and slashes everything in his vicinity.

Hutogi's adrenaline got to him, as he heard footsteps in all directions. Second before, it was on his west, second after it was on his east. The sound of the footsteps grew louder, and closer. And then, the sound of footsteps stops in his southeast direction. Hutogi instinctively swung his sword. But it didn't hit anything beside the building beyond it.

Ten, jumped over Hutogi's slash and used his machete to cut Hutogi's head. But the attack was shallow. Hutogi barely backed off before the attack reached deeper. Ten, as his whole body was on its way to reach the ground, he kicked Hutogi. Hutogi blocks the attack using his hilt. The impact from the kick makes him fly about 13 meters to the back.

Inside Hutogi's mind, his raw strength was only slightly stronger before he injected himself with a drug. Despite that, the drug's effect is actually made Hutogi have a hard time against Ten. The effect of slightly stronger raw strength, speed, and also perception.

At this moment, Hutogi takes a deep breath before opening one of his eyes.

"Devil Eyes: Soul!" Hutogi sees it, Ten moves as he's looking at Hutogi. His eyes keep following him, until Ten dashes right out to the side of his sight, before vanishing into the air. 

Second after, Hutogi heard one loud footstep behind him and instinctively swung his sword towards it. Ten was nowhere inside his vicinity, at that moment, Hutogi realizes, that Ten was right behind him. 

Ten, with the stabbing stance, attacks Hutogi from behind. Hutogi once again barely blocked his attack. But the impact of Ten's attack causes Hutogi to stagger for a second. Ten, with his machete, swung it on Hutogi. Hutogi managed to recover and block the machete. But Hutogi's foot was in balance and he lost the timing to block Ten's attack.

So, it causes him to lose his pinky and ring finger. Ten keeps attacking and shooting while Hutogi keeps blocking. Hutogi keeps getting sent back as Ten keeps pushing forward. Ten, uses his leg to kick Hutogi's sword's handle. Hutogi was staggered again, and his hands that were holding the sword blocked his view of Ten, as he vanished into the air again.

Hutogi feels the sensation of a sharp blade cut through his trapezius, the muscle between his neck and shoulder. As Hutogi felt pain, in instinct, he swung the steel blade. Ten once again vanished as if he were never there. The steel blade cut the whole building, and the upper part that got cut flew upwards before it reached the ground.

From the third person, Ten was already behind Hutogi. Of course, Hutogi also realized that. But his body couldn't keep up with him as the sharp blade pierced his heart. And then to the aorta. Finally to the throat. The blade gouges its bone and flesh before finally parting the nerve connecting it.

Hutogi's view of the sky, before he finally realized his head had parted with the rest of his body. Hutogi's head bumped into the ground, and the nerve system slowly malfunctioned before the brain shut down, as Hutogi's soul part from his physical body.

Ten, only stares at Hutogi's head before he gives a black blanket, covering his head. And then walked out from the scene.

Eden can feel the sharp object pierce his whole body. Before he slowly dies of the blood loss. Rudy, on the other hand, was speechless. As he sees the floating pink thread on Eden. The thread itself was sharp enough to pierce the flesh, before she pulled it out.

Meryna, despite her body, was almost destroyed to bits by the missile's explosion. The body does not move, but the head does. The head somehow parted from the body. And there's a huge amount of pink thread coming out under it.

Meryna has a sad expression, as she looks to her body that's holed up with an explosion.

"Aww... you destroyed it..."
