"You shouldn't do that kind of stunt again, understand?" Rina scolded Del as she helped him treating his wound.
Del made quite a commotion when he entered the town with his clothing ripped apart and his body drenched in blood. However, he also brought the evidence that Alberto was dead which was his big sword.
He also looted some silver coins off from Alberto's body. It netted him some cash to spend for later. Still, the cash on Alberto's body was not enough to buy any rifle that [Modern Weapon Summoning System] provided.
"But Rina, look at the cash I gathered," Del said to Rina.
"I don't care even if you finish a quest that grants you ten gold coins. If you die, it will be the end for you," Rina said.
Lisa approached Del, "Del, don't do it again, alright? My mom will lose another employee if you go away."
"Sure little kiddo," Del said as Lisa pinched Del's feet, "Ouch, ouch, why would you do that?"
"I hate you, Del," Lisa came running out of the room.
Del didn't understand what was going on. It seemed that Lisa was a little bit more caring to him than usual. He wondered what happened to her. He wanted to ask Rina but she was busy treating his wound by sewing it.
"You know, my daughter is worried sick for you," Rina continued sewing his wound, "[Healing Hands]!"
"Really?" Del asked.
"Yeah, now sit still, I'm still sewing the big blood vessel," Rina said.
"Alright, ma'am," Del said as he sat still while bearing the pain on his left hand.
In total, Del had around seventy-five silver coins now. It should be enough to buy him two new white shirts and one new cargo pants for him to wear. He also planned to buy better ammunition. The .45 ACP FMJ wasn't enough to kill a level 10 person.
He might want to buy the Armor Piercing ammunition, but he also wanted to buy the hollow point ammunition. It was rather a confusing choice for him. He didn't know whether the round penetrated Alberto's body or it didn't go deep enough to cause any significant injury to his body.
Still, he wanted to have a larger caliber firearm as soon as possible. With a larger caliber, he would be able to kill a more dangerous enemy than a mere level twelve bandit. He also felt that having a large caliber firearm should give him an advantage of engaging enemies in a longer range.
"Alright, done, don't you touch any water for these two days, ok? My healing spell works perfectly, but we still need time for your wound to heal up completely," Rina said as she picked up the container where she put her medicine and she left the room.
[Del, you might need an Ibuprofen for treating the pain.]
"Why?" Del asked.
[The pain that you felt right now has been reduced by Ibuprofen. After the Ibuprofen wore off, you'll feel so much pain that I doubt that you can even move your body.]
"Alright, how much does it cost?"

[Showing Amenities: Medicine]
[Ibuprofen Painkiller] [3$] [1 Stripe]
[Amoxilin Antibiotic] [3$] [1 Stripe]

"Alright, take the two silver coins then, do you have any direction on how often I should take the tablets?" Del asked.
[Three times a day, after a meal.]
"Alright, I'll consume it according to the instruction," Del laid down on his bed.
He put the stripe of Ibuprofen below his pillow. He didn't want Rina to find a silver stripe containing medicine located right below his pillow. He knew that the combination of painkillers and antibiotics should help him to heal faster.
After all, he wanted to make use of the system as much as he could. He wanted to gain enough power to convince Anna to his side. If Anna were on his side, he would have a family in the world where everyone wanted to kill him.
It might be a hyperbole expression, but he had the feeling that the king wanted to assassinate him if he gave too much attention. If he proved that he was strong enough to join the heroes' party, the king would have to swallow his word. Knowing his dignity, he might have Del killed.
"Thinking about it, what my friends are doing right now? I bet they are having so much fun in the palace without worrying about a damn thing," Del asked himself.
[Del, what do you think about your friends?]
"They are a bunch of assholes that will stab their friend just because they are stronger than him. Well, except for Anna, she's my sister," Del said.
[Anna? Who is she?]
"My twin sister, basically my female edition," Del said.
[I see. Well, I hope both of you can meet soon enough.]
"I don't know about that. Well, for now, let's think about surviving first, ok?" Del said.
[Understand, I'll do my best to keep you alive until that moment arrives]
"Thanks, Pidma, you're the best," Del said.
[Sure.]
He looked outside, at the grassland. The wind was blowing so peacefully on the grassland. The slimes were jumping across the grassland. There were also some wild animals such as horses. They looked so peaceful.
Del hoped that he could live a peaceful life. After all, as much as he liked combatting and shooting, he preferred to just shoot at a non-moving target instead of a bandit that wanted to kill him and would do anything to make sure that Del got killed.
He was also still shocked with what money and his hands could do.
"I just killed a person, didn't I? He is a villain, but does he have a family? What if his money is actually used for donations for the poor? What if he robbed people because it is the only thing that he could do?" Del asked himself that question out loud.
It didn't matter though, the person was dead, and thinking about it was very stupid.

Del ate his food at the dining area. Thanks to the painkiller and the antibiotic pills, he didn't have the lingering sensation of pain on his left arm. He wasn't wearing any shirt since his last white shirt was thrown away by Rina.
It wasn't a big deal, it wasn't uncommon to see a topless adventurer. Nobody would even mind him just using his pants while walking in the inn. The only person that would warn him was Lisa. She disliked seeing a topless body.
Suddenly, a female adventurer approached him, "Excuse me, your name is Del, right?"
"Yes, why do you ask?" Del asked as he continued eating his meal.
"I heard that you beat that bastard Alberto. You are stronger than I expected. I like that in a man," the female adventurer said.
This female adventurer was weird. Del looked at her, she was beautiful. She had red hair and she also wore thick leather armor that covered the vital parts of her body such as chest, stomach, upper hands, and thighs.
From the look of her sword which was decorated with yellow stripes on its sheath, Del guessed that she must be a high-rank adventurer. At the very least, the woman might be an E-rank adventurer or more.
"What do you want?" Del asked.
"I'm looking for someone for my party. Someone who is reliable enough but not too wise. Someone who won't argue with their quest rewards. Someone who will do his jobs reliably. Someone who is…"
Del cut the female adventurer's long talk, "You need me?"
"Yes, that summarizes it, I guess?" The woman thought for a minute.
"Alright, what can I do for you and what should I do for you?" Del asked.
"I want you to work together with me. I need someone who will watch my back without any question. Are you ok with that or should I search for a braver man?" The woman asked.
If Del took the offer, he would have the opportunity to do a harder quest and gain more money in the process. However, there was also the risk of being stabbed in the back with this woman. After all, he couldn't trust anybody in this world. Still, the woman wouldn't steal anything, would she?
"Let's talk about payment, shall we?" Del asked.
"You'll get 30% of the total payment from the quest, is that a deal for you?" The woman asked.
"What's your rank?" Del asked.
"C."
Del immediately spurted his drink, "C???"
"Yeah, I'm a C-rank adventurer. If you want to make some real money instead of just scraping by, you better work for me. So, will you take the offer or not? I don't like waiting," the woman said.
"Alright, it's a deal then. I'll help you on your quest in exchange for 30% of the total rewards. When can I start?" Del asked.
"Three days from now, I'll wait at the Guild Building. Make sure that you come and I don't want to see you topless," the woman said as she left the table.
Del didn't have any comment. He was confused on how a C-rank adventurer was able to find him? Well, it was something unexpected. It could be a trap as far as Del knew, but well, it was not really dangerous to go adventuring with her either.
Rina approached the table and picked up Del's empty plate, "Have you finished eating yet? How was Laire?"
Del looked at Rina in surprise, "Do you know her?"
"Yup, I know Laire. She might be an asshole, but she's actually not that bad," Rina answered.
Del became even more surprised, "What? Look, Rina, she came to me like a hungry old woman looking for a young man. What makes you think I will accept her request?"
Rina replied with a smirk, "Because you're poor and she's not. C'mon, just accept her request, she won't kill you or anything."
"Well, fair enough. If you trust her, I think I should trust her too."
"Don't worry Del, she won't do anything to you under my watch," Rina said.
"Ok, thanks, Rina," Del stood up from his chair.
"My pleasure."
