Meeting
There were many things that needed to be done, but their resources were limited. Alex needed to take over the conquest to hasten the progress, but he also needed to focus on the frontline in case something else happened there.
Based on his understanding, Alex was sure his mother and Emily wouldn't be able to enter the rift easily. There were many immortals in the frontline area, and fights happened often.
