Not admitting or denying the fact that he was a hard schemer that leaves his opponent with no options, to begin with.

In his mind, the secret deal with the Lizardarks was considered to be an equivalent exchange.

What Lei Zhen wanted is the apprehension of the black mage, and what the Lizardark wanted is their habitat back and to become the king of the swamp.

So long as the Lizardark does not have any intention of invading Yors Castle, there would be no conflict of interest once the deal was completed.

"To achieve your goal, there are things that one must do even if it's a difficult choice. Otherwise, don't bother having a goal from the start." Lei Zhen commented, his gaze staring at the scenery outside of the office's window.
