Angela fell on her bottom after being hit by the counter. Even in a women's match, a solid hit could easily lead to a KO. Fortunately, Angela's durability was better than expected. As Angela fell, Hikari unleashed a flurry of punches while standing.

Two punches landed cleanly. Usually, the referee would stop the fight in such situations, but not this time. The referee didn't stop the fight because Angela was still conscious.

Unlike what the camera shows, the referee checks the fighter's condition up close. Even if brutal punches are landing, if the fighter is still conscious, the fight often continues. Conversely, sometimes a fight is stopped without a single punch landing if the fighter is already unconscious from the standing exchange. Angela was clearly conscious despite being pummeled.
