Ten days

For the next ten days, Misty, Jay and Kason worked together to move the refugees who wanted to come and serve on the estate. One of the rooms on the second floor was set up as a nursery while a room close to the library was set up as a school room for the older children. The kitchen was bustling with new aids, and cleaners were busy airing out all the rooms and clearing out the dust.

The morning after her night with Kason, Misty woke before he did. She left him to sleep and headed over to the baths to wash up. Once inside, she found Jay who had also gone to clean up. Leaning into kiss her, he shut the door behind her. The rest of her morning was spent exploring some of the best ways to use a tub.

By that time, Kason had gone back to his room to get ready for the day and met her at the door to escort her down for breakfast. Misty could feel how much they cherished her.
