The morning comes.
Rue-Yim hasn't slept for a moment. She has been staring up at the sky, trying to figure out where she is. The fog hasn't dissipated, but she can see the blue sky to some extent.
Her maid enters the room after a knock. She hasn't waited for Rue-Yim's permission. However, there is a warm smile on her face. "My Lady, did you have a good sleep?"
Rue-Yim smiles at her brightly. "What do you think?"
"You look happy." She stands close to the bed. "Lord Wang has sent a message. He will take you out on a stroll this afternoon."
Although this should make her happy, Rue-Yim isn't ecstatic. Whenever she wants to enjoy the happiness that this life has to offer, she ends up recalling all the lives in which she watched him love and marry someone else. From the beginning until the last lifetime, he chose Song Ja. It's just too odd.
Why is she questioning this happiness?
