Chapter 10 - Cult & Fake summoning

Stopping myself from thinking about that I went inside the forest and disappeared inside my own shadow.

I appeared in front of some humans that were getting ready to summon an otherworlder their strength to say was pathetically weak even Gobta could kill all of them and that says something.

They didn't see me as I was hiding my presence changing to my human form I waited for them to finish the spell and pretended to be the summoned one while the person that was supposed to be summoned would be gifted one skill from me in exchange for his soul to be devoured by me at the end of his life.

As they finished the spell I showed myself in the place where summoning took place after which I looked at the summoners with my face expressionless waiting for them to speak.

"You are summoned here to serve our country so don't resist and go with us."

One of the summoners said while thinking that I have the obedience seal that comes with summoning. I didn't say anything only nodded a little and seeing that the summoner asked me.

"Are you mute?"

I looked at him for a while thinking whether I should answer or go with the flow deciding to do it I nodded.

It seemed that summoner wasn't that pleased with it but then it changed when he thought that I could be used as an assassin so I wouldn't leak information thanks to being mute he forgot that I could write but as long as no one teaches me how to write in this language it will be fine not that I plan to work for them.

"Don't worry even though you are mute there's always something you can do to help the country now we need to meet the king so you can know what skill you got. And to explain what the skill is it is a power that people get and you should get one when you were summoned."

He kept on explaining to me with his fake smile that was there only to keep me calm and it seemed that wasn't the first time he summoned someone to this world as the smile looked genuine but that could also be because he got higher in the status thanks to being a mage that has control over otherworlder.

"....And that's how we got the plan to summon people like you to strengthen our country. That's why you shouldn't let me down with the skill you got as that would make things more complicated but don't worry nothing bad will happen to you."

While the mage was leading me to the king another me or I went to meet my cult head Alexander the Reincarnator who wasn't expecting anyone to appear inside his room when he was having fun with his little harem he built himself that still expands for now he has a Elf loli, Busty Dragonoid and Wolfgirl.

So when I appeared I witnessed their naked bodies and got attacked almost immediately but that stopped when Alexander recognized me and said to stop while covering their bodies with sheets.

It took him some time even though I was in my main form which is basically cat the same form in which he met me.

He seemed angry at the fact that I saw his harem angry but he was smart and didn't do anything as he understood that he could do nothing about it the only thing that was a little helpful to him was the excuse that I an omnipotent being in his view wouldn't be interested in mortal bodies the excuse didn't even change the fact that I saw them but it helped him to calm down.

So he asked his harem to leave him alone with me for a moment they didn't want to but after some promises, they finally agreed.

They had the mark which meant they were part of the cult and he didn't want to reveal the fact that I'm the god they were praying to as he feared they would offer themselves to me.

Why he had these thoughts because he saw that any person who joined the cult so far became a devoted lunatic who would do anything to make life miserable for a person who said anything bad about me.

The girls didn't leave and eavesdropped on us as they were suspicious about me and the fact that I'm a black cat that appeared in front of the cult head that is about a black cat didn't help so they decided to listen to what we will be talking about.

I noticed it unlike Alexander as his skills don't include detection even the new skills he got are about leadership and persuasion but I didn't tell him why should I? It's his fault for making a harem with a woman who has someone else as the most important person in life than him.

He used the easier way by using his status in the cult while he could make a harem with women outside the cult while making sure they didn't join so don't blame me if they went inside the room and offered themself to me.

Even though I will refuse it will still hurt to see your harem do it anyway.

I stopped myself from further thinking about it and started saying what I came here for.

"I came here to inform you about the fact that one kingdom will soon join the cult precisely the Falmuth Kingdom don't ask why just know about that and get ready to welcome more people as the king will also join and will make it become a religion in his or soon my kingdom."

"Yes Lord Katharos it will be done but I believe that I don't have enough power to make sure that everything will be done right so If you could please.."

He said to me well then I suddenly got an Idea.

"So even though you have this much you are still greedy for more power? Even though you didn't use your whole potential you ask for more. Why? Don't have time for training or maybe that's because you spent most of your time fucking your little harem that's why? You are just lazy fuck you were before from what I know most of the job is done by your clones that don't even have memory retained after you dispel them but as the merciful being that I am you will get more power."

I said to him even though I didn't really care if he was lazy as long as the job was done but to have him work harder with the power I will grant him I needed to do it.

The power that I granted him worked by helping people as long as he helps 10 people he will get stronger by 0,5% of his total strength with a limit of 500% the only rule is that helping the same person doesn't count so he needs to help 10000 people but as a cult's head it should be easy.

I decided on it only because so far I have done bad things to people in this world most of the time it's not that I care just wanted to do something good.

"I gave you this power so you will have to move your ass more and its easy-to-understand description will make it possible for your brain to understand what to do at least I hope so."

After I said it I went outside the room and said goodbye to the girls making Alexander shocked at the fact they eavesdropped on him and me and before they said anything I was swallowed by my shadow disappearing.

Right now I was in front of the big gate of a castle the mage that summoned me said we were close to our destination which was the throne room.

I could also hear murmurs from the guards saying how bad it must be to be me just got summoned into another world without the option to say no to anything the summoner says eventually becoming a war weapon.

It is stupid of guards to speak about it when I'm here what would they do if I got a skill that makes my hearing better like body strengthening? Anyway, I proceeded to pretend that I didn't hear what they said and went inside.

I won't lie the castle inside isn't that bad and the maids that I saw were quite beautiful might need one in the future but nothing else was worthy of my attention the rooms that I saw were not really up to my taste as too much gold in one room looks ugly, the paintings of fat guys aren't something I would hang on my wall, etc.

I finally arrived at the throne room and when I went inside I saw the king who looked like the ugly bastard from Netorare stories and a beautiful woman sitting near probably the queen with the description I gave is perfect a beautiful woman and an Ugly bastard such a classic.

The mage that 'summoned me' knelt in front of him and then saw me still standing and immediately ordered me to kneel I of course didn't and that's how my play as a mute would end.

"Why should I kneel before him that's him that should kneel before me mortal."

As I said a sudden pressure washed everyone in the room and made them go on their knees. I calmly walked into the middle of the room and said.

"Now that's cleared who should kneel let's get straight to the point..."

But before I continued the king started shouting.

"Knights arrest him now! Fast!"

I looked at him not minding that he interpreted the thing that was annoying me he did it to stupidly call the knights so I cut both of his arms and said with power.

"Silence."

As I said he could no longer open his mouth but I still shouted his muffled scream.

"Now to continue what I want from you all is to just agree to what I say after which everything will be fine so remember just agree let's start. I want all of you to become members of my cult."

I hear almost everyone say.

"I agree."

"I join."

The only people who didn't agree were the queen and the king as he can't speak right now everyone else became my slaves.

"Why didn't you agree? Don't you fear that I will kill you?"

I asked her why as that was quite intriguing what she would say.

"I don't want to join this cult as I don't know what I could gain from this."

Hmm, stupid reason as she has no choice but will go with the flow.

"The thing that you will gain from joining is power, not the power in status but personal strength."

She didn't seem to care so I added.

"You will get the chance to control your destiny and no longer be a puppet to your king that ignores you while having sex with royal whores."

With this, she was moved but before she agreed she asked one more question.

"And what's the price?"

I then said.

"You get a mark on your hand thats it."

I didn't lie just didn't tell the mark would do anything she then pretended to think about it and finally said.

"I agree to join your cult."

I smiled and welcomed her. Now what is left is the king and making sure everyone else takes this as a religion after which I can go back to the tempest to see orcs battle and get my prize from Treyni.
