Adoptive Father

Binju takes Pysche to a house away from the crowd. Every day the man would visit her to give Pysche a proper food and clothing. He asked the girl to think of him as a father. Since Then Pysche has become Binju's adopted daughter. But Binju always told Pysche to never showed her white magic power in front of any human being. Binju worries that the irresponsible humans will take advantage of her magic power.

"Alright dad... I will never show my power to anyone," Pysche said, agreeing to her adoptive father's request. Binju smiled and it made the girl feel happy. But the girl didn't know the hidden meaning of her father's smile.

"That's my good girl... I'll be so proud of you if you always obeyed me," Binju said, stroking Pysche's hair gently.

Once for several consecutive days Binju did not visit the residence of his adopted daughter at all. This worried Pysche. She was afraid that Binju had forgotten and dumped her. She was afraid that her father hated her so much that he didn't want to see her anymore. Every day Pysche looked out the window and waited for her father's arrival. But Binju never visited her for the two whole weeks.

Finally Binju came to the house with a gloomy face. Pysche was happy to see her father had returned. But her face immediately became worried after seeing the shabby face of the father. The girl approached her father and sat in front of Binju who was sitting on a chair. Pysche grabbed Binju's hand and held it tightly.

"father.... Is there any thing that bothering you?" asked Pysche attentively. Binju shook his head and looked at Pysche with a sharp eyes. It made Pysche feel so sad.

"Father... If there's anything Pysche can do to make you happy, then say it... I'll do everything for you," Pysche said sadly.

"You know Pysche... Sometimes I want to have a white magic like you, so that I can protect the things which is precious to me..." Binju sadly turned his face out the window. The girl looked at him with an clueless look. Is it true that having her white magic would able to make Binju feel happy?

" I think I can give you a little bit of my power father... I don't know how to give it all to you, but I was able to transfer my white magic to heal your grieving heart..." Pysche showed her innocent face and tilted her head. Binju turned his gaze to the girl and looked at her in disbelief.

" Are you really capable of doing that? " Binju asked her doubtfully. Pysche nodded enthusiastically and it brought a smile on Binju's face.

The girl began grasping Binju's hands and transferring her white Magic power. There was a glowing white glow that appeared on Pysche's hand and entered Binju's skin. Instantly Binju was able to feel the flow of energy that filled his body. The man grinned smugly without Pysche's knowledge. After the girl finished doing her activities, Binju immediately stood up and said that she needed to leave immediately. He remembered there was something else he needed to do right then and there. He didn't care even though Pysche looked at him in bewilderment. The man left Pysche nailing in the confusion alone in an empty house.

Binju walked quickly towards the empty land and smiled with a satisfaction facr. He raised his hand in the air and tried to drop an apple from the tree with the magic he had just received. The apple was really wobbling and seemed to be just going to falling. Binju started laughing happily. But instantly the apple fell silent and returned to its place. He still couldn't use the magic . Binju was furious, he took a small knife in his pocket and threw it at the apple, making the fruit split in two and fall to the ground.

"Damn. It's not enough," he muttered, looking so agitated.

Since then Binju has always visited Pysche and asked the girl to transfer her white magic. Pysche never had any bad thoughts about his father's request. All she knew was that Binju was the only human who protected her when others harmed her. He was the only human being who loved her when others harnessed her strength. Pysche really loved Binju like a real children. And Binju has been able to deceive the girl with All of his skits.

Yes.... Binju never thought about having an actual relationship with the girl. He was only interested in her white magic. When he hears the news about a circus group that has a white magic controler as a member, Binju immediately looks for them. He had always wanted to develop magic power to take the power of Hwon's country. His encounter with Pysche was a fortune for him. He felt that he had found a way to find a source of invincible strength.

The intelligent yet insular Binju pretends to treat the girl lovingly. But his goal was only one, he wanted to seize all of Pysche's white magic power in all sorts of ways. That's the reason why he locked Pysche in a house far from the public life so that Pysche was not interested in other humas being. He treats Pysche well and gave all her needs just to make a beautiful prison for the girl.

Whenever Binju gets a white magic power transfered from Pysche, he will always try to use it, but he always fails. This made him so angry and frustrated that he wouldn't give up. He would find any way to have that power.

One day Prince Woon and his best friend Ryu are hunting in a forest far enough from his palace. They hunt to train their archery skills. Woon has found his target, there is a majestic bird that flies beautifully on the sky. The prince had locked up his target. He also fired his arrow that shot perfectly at his target.

"got you!" said the prince excitedly. He immediately ran towards his target which was falling in the distance with an expanding smile.

Woon continued to enter the forest in search of the fallen bird. After spending some time going around the Forest, he was finally able to find the bird. But the bird was not lying on the ground. There was a girl who put the bird on her lap. She held an arrow that pierced through the bird's wing. In an instant there was a white light filling the arrow and the bird. The girl easily pulled out Woon's arrow and at that moment the bird's wound had healed.

Pysche smiled happily to see the bird had returned to its healthy state. She raised the bird highly on the air and flew it back into space. The bird looked as healthy and agile as ever.

On the other hand Woon seemed fascinated by the scenery that he saw. He was not only amazed to see that the girl had perfectly healed the bird, but he was also fascinated by the silver-haired, green-eyed beauty. Woon continued to step forward, but when he accidentally stepped on a dry twig, he had caught Pysche's attention who then looked towards him.

They both seemed stuck in their place. Feeling like they've been caught doing the wrong thing. Woon feels clumsy and nervous at being caught looking at the beautiful girl, while Pysche has been caught while using her white magic power. Pysche was the first one to end their eye contact. The girl immediately stood up from her seat and ran as faat as possible from the unnamed man.

" Wait!" the prince called to try to stop Pysche from running away from him. But the girl didn't care. Woon was about to catch up with the girl before his steps had stopped because someone called over him.

"Your majesty!" Ryu appeared behind him. He raised a little antelope on his right hand with a wide smile.

"It seems that I won this time," Ryu said smiling happily when he saw the prince standing alone empty-handed. Woon looked towards Ryu with a bitter smile. He again set his sights on the last place Pysche appeared with an unpredictable gaze.

"It's almost dark now. Let's go back to the palace," the guard said later. Woon seemed hesitate at first but in the end he nodded and agreed to Ryu's words.

The next day Woon returns to the forest where he finds the girl who has miraculously healed a badly injured bird. Woon was so curious about the girl. He wasn't sure if what he saw was just his imagination or what was happening before his eye is the truth.

The prince decided to trace down the path that the girl passed to find her. After walking for a long time through a lush forest road, Woon finally found an isolated house building and stood firmly in the middle of the forest. Nevertheless the house looks neatly maintained and has a garden of vegetables and fruits that are abundant. There is also a large flowering garden around it. Woon walked closer and was able to hear the melodious-sounding rhythm. He followed the source of the voice and found a girl pruning dried leaves from a lush-looking rose plants.

"emm.... Hi" Woon called out to the girl hesitantly while rubbing the nape of his neck.

The man's voice that sounded foreign in Pysche's ears made the girl immediately freeze in place. She turned her head and found a familiar male figure standing outside the fence of her house. The man looked clumsy and smiled stiffly at her. Pysche didn't understand why and how this man was able to come to her house. She was only able to stand transfixed qnd looking at the man with her round green eyes.

From a distance Binju who was about to come to Pysche stopped in his path. It was the first time he had seen Pysche interacted with another human after the incident that happened to her in the circus troupe. Binju narrowed his eyes and looked at the man who was standing in front of her house.

"Woon?" muttered Binju confusedly. He closely observed the interaction between the two.

After a long silence Pysche was finally able to gather her consciousness. She immediately ran into the house and locked the door tightly. She also closed all the windows of her house tightly as well as the curtains of the house. She didn't want the slightest crack that allowed the man to see let alone enter her house.

"I'm not a bad person," Woon muttered as he scratched his hair. Receiving Pysche's extreme treatment made the man feel like a criminal. He just wanted to say hello and talk to the girl.

Woon decides to leave, as he approaches the street where Binju is standing, the middle-aged man immediately hides himself from being seen by Woon. He looked at the prince's back and flashed a faint smile on his face.

After Woon's departure, Binju immediately approached Pysche's house. He knocked on the wooden door and called out his adopted daughter. The two of them immediately sat in chairs together after Pysche provided some food and drink for her adoptive father.

"What did the man do here Pysche? Do you know him?" asked Binju in a flat voice.
