The pair walked passed Amy and the cousin who had left the bruises on Meridian’s face. The girls snarled at Meridian as they walked by. “Really, you dumped me for that?” Amy said. “I thought you said that you weren’t seeing her?” Amy continued and followed Meridian and Aiden into the parking lot.
“Amy, let it go. What I do is my business. You and I are over.” He got in the middle of her and Meridian.
Amy snarled with anger. “I’ll let it go when I am ready to let it go. You haven’t heard the last of it,” Amy said as she walked back in the restaurant.
Aiden ushered Meridian back in his truck to take her home. The incident out in the parking lot did not go unnoticed by Talon who had been keeping an eye on the pair. He watched Aiden drive off with Meridian and his stare was only interrupted by the only being who could muster up sarcasm at all the wrong times.
