Investigating

Location of the Fight.

Arlecchino's POV.

"You're sure this is the place right?" I ask Columbina who was kind enough to help us find the place where we fought the Equal Dragon Weapon.

Columbina nodded in response at the question, "Yes, I believe that it's the correct spot, unless there has been an avalache that changed how the actual one looks." She informed.

Looking around, I see that Gloom has already began investigating, "Better than nothing." I tell the third, "Although it would be a lot faster with Barbatos' help, but we have no idea where he is." I complain, knowing the Anemo Archon would have been able to find the monster using the winds.

"La Signora had the same idea, she's currently on the look for him." Columbina told me, "But I don't think she's thinking of finding that... thing... It is supposed to be dead after all." She clarified.

"Hey! Do giant footprints count as a clue!?" Shimmer yelled, catching our attention, going over to her, we saw the footprints she was talking about.

I scratch my head in contemplation, trying to remember what the Equal Dragon Weapon's claws looked like, "I wish we had some reference to have a better comparison..." I mutter, not being able to remember.

"I don't think it is though, look at that." Gloom informed, pointing at a few trees that seemed drained of life.

Shimmer's POV.

I walk up to the trees and give one of them a knock, only for it to fall, "Oh this is much worse than the weapon." I tell the others having an idea of what it is.

Turning to look at them, I see that Arlecchino and Columbina were looking at me with blank faces, while Gloom had her hands on her face, "Shimmer... It took all of the Harbringers at the time, me, and the Tsaritsa herself to deal with the put-back-together monstrosity, and you're telling me this might be worse?" Gloom questioned with wide eyes.

"I mean, we might be able to get it on our side, but I can't really confirm anything." I reassure, thinking it will want the weapon dead too.

"That's good, what is it exactly?" Columbina asked, "Safi'Jiiva." I reply simply, "Basically a... I actually don't know what it is, but it can drain energy from it's surrounding to regenerate itself." I elaborate the best I could.

The moment I said that, I see that they facepalmed, "That's not a good thing if it doesn't decide to hear us out you know?" Gloom pointed out, but I could only laugh nervously at being called out like that.

Gloom walked up to me and gave me a chop on the head, "Ow!" I yelp in surprise, "That's for being a rat." My girlfriend said before looking back at the footprints, "Anyway, we should go over to where I tossed the thing, we might be luckier." She suggested.

Equal Dragon Weapon Landing Point.

Gloom's POV.

"Why the hell is there a white penis chicken wandering around!?" I shout whisper to Shimmer after having seen the veiny, slimy and very very ugly creature.

"It's a Khezu, listen, if you don't want to get shocked, leave it alone, if it attacks, we can just kill it." She replied, taking her wand out to be prepared.

Keeping my distance from the ugly creature, I begin looking around, finding absolutely nothing, "I can't search well with that thing here!" I lament outloud, pulling out my wand, putting a stone in it and using it to form a fist which I crushed the Khezu with.

Shimmer looked at the pile of broken bones and squished flesh with a frown, "You could have thrown that away too you know?" She pointed out before we heard a loud thump nearby.

Turning to where the noise came from, we saw a mountain of spikes with a body and massive horns, "Is this the Safi'Jiiva!?" I questioned holding my wand in defense.

"A Nergigante! also I have an Idea!" Shimmer responded, putting a stone in her wand, using it to make a statue of the Equal Dragon Weapon and then three more statues of us and the Nergigante fighting it.

"Shimmer. I've seen dumb stuff in my life. But this!" I exclaim before the Nergigante jumped over the statues of itself and use and crushed the one of the Equal Dragon Weapon.

After making sure it was throughly crushed, the Nergigante turned to us and used it's horns to lift us up and toss us onto it's back, bringing us somewhere.

"Stupid idea you say huh?" Shimmer questioned with a teasing tone, "Shut the fuck up..." I respond giving her another chop on the head.
