Chapter 33: Job Class
"Sir, why can't I choose the Berserk Force Warrior class?" Ashen asked, puzzled as he stood before the altar's fading glow.
Pyro glanced at him with a calm smile. "That class is locked for a reason. There can only be one Berserk Force Warrior at a time... and right now, that's me," he explained. "It's the same with other unique force classes. They're not just roles, they're legacies—passed down only when the current wielder falls or willingly gives them up."
Ashen's heart sank a little. He admired Pyro's strength and had hoped to follow directly in his footsteps. Seeing Ashen's expression, Pyro tried to lift his spirits.
"Don't be discouraged. Each force class has its own power and potential," Pyro said confidently. "It's not about copying someone else's path—it's about forging your own. Any of these classes can lead you to the top, if you're willing to put in the work."
Ashen brightened, encouraged by the words. A small smile formed on his lips.
"I've made my decision," he declared, his eyes firm with resolve. "This world is full of magic and wonder. I want to experience something completely different—a new way to fight. So, I'm choosing a magic class this time."
Pyro raised an eyebrow. "Really? I thought for sure you'd pick something more martial, like a sword-based class."
Ashen chuckled. "Even though I'm used to using weapons, I've always fought mid-range. I want to try something new—to command the battlefield with both distance and power."
Pyro nodded. "It doesn't matter which you pick. If you train with heart and discipline, you'll become someone this world will remember."
Ashen took a deep breath and clicked the [Select] button on his screen.
Suddenly, a torrent of Force surged into his body, overwhelming and wild.
"ARGHHH!!" he screamed, writhing as his body expelled residual mana and absorbed pure, raw Force. Unknown elemental powers twisted inside him, transforming him from the core.
"Hold on, Ashen!" Pyro urged, his voice steady as he continued chanting. "It's only for a minute. Endure it!"
Ashen bit his lip and fought through the storm of pain.

[Wizard Creativity] – Enables you to manifest and create unique spells based on thought and affinity without registering it on your skill slots having infinite skills.

Reduces chance of being affected by debuffs. If debuffed, recovers more quickly.

Ashen quickly spent two points, learning both Freezing Hands and Burning Bomb. He felt a surge of power settle within him.
Pyro turned to him. "So? How does it feel to have your first Force Class?"
Ashen nodded, still breathless from the experience. "It feels... powerful. I know I've just begun, but this class—it fits me."
Pyro grinned. "You've only scratched the surface. Once your class reaches Grand Master, you'll understand why Elemental Force Wizards are feared across the continent."
"How do I level it up?" Ashen asked, eager.
Pyro crossed his arms. "That's the difference between Force and Mana users. For mana classes, their rank is fixed based on rarity—Common to Legendary. But us?"
He tapped his chest. "We grow. From Beginner to Grand Master... and beyond. The highest known rank is Transcender. But to get there, you must use your skills—not just thousands, but millions of times. Skills only level when you hit real enemies. It's a grind like no other."
Ashen's eyes gleamed with anticipation. "Then I better start now."
He paused. "How about you, Pyro? What's your rank?"
Pyro smirked. "Let's just say I'm far above Grand Master. But you'll find out one day... when you're strong enough to stand beside me."
Ashen smiled, full of fire and purpose. For the first time, he felt like he was truly standing at the beginning of his legend.
