*Unknown POV*
Late at night, while Meliodas and his friends went out having fun, in a dimly lit secret room, the air was heavy with tension as two figures were facing each other. The one to the right leaned over a polished wooden table, his sharp eyes fixed on his clandestine operative.
"My loyal servant, the time has come for you to fulfill your destiny and purpose." His voice whispered through the shadows, his sinister intent palpable.
The other one kneeling before him, kept his gaze lowered, his expression masked by a veil of obedience. "What is your command, your majesty?"
A wicked grin crept across the first one's face as he revealed a parchment detailing an evil plot. "I have tasks of utmost importance. The princesses of Elenoir, Elizabeth and Tessia Eralith are rising individuals in prowess. Their talents pose a threat to our dominion. You must eliminate this risk."
The kneeling figure still and attentive, questioned, "But your majesty, arent they just dumb children. What can they even do?"
The one with power gazed upon his servant, unforgiving. "Their potential is a threat we cannot allow to blossom. The future of our supremacy hinges on their premature demise. It is a regrettable necessity."
Grappling with the weight of his orders, he sought clarification. "How would you have me carry out this deed, my lord?"
A sinister smile played upon the lord's lips. "Exploit their innocence. A web of deception shall be your tool. Do it discreetly, before their talents become insurmountable, then when the moment comes, kill them!" He said without emotions.
"It shall be done your majesty!" The other replied.
"There is still one more thing, a girl is in possession of the Blue Necklace of Life. Obtaining it is paramount for our cause. I need you to ensure her demise regardless of the consequences even if it means having the Dragon Sin of wrath against us, I know you can Handle him." The man sitting on his chair crossed his legs.
"Thank you for your trust your majesty, I shall not disapoint!" He annouced
"I know you will not disapoint..."
*Meliodas POV*
Waking uo the next day, I rolled out of my bed to go wash myself, then I dressed up.
*Sigh* "Last night was a very wild one. Ash almost got an intoxication from all the alcohol he drank, Lucy almost beated some dudes who were trying to talk to her, Elijah slep half through the party and Arthur got all the Bitches for himself." I complained to myself.
"But suprisingly Feyrith was the only one who did not cause any problems, maybe he was trying to fit in and be friends with us? Damn, now I really feel bad for all what happened between us, the guy is super lonely now that I think about it." I scrached the back of my head.
"Anyways, these matters are for later, now is another day to shine as the president of the DC." I shamelessly declared, knowing how lazy I am when it comes to doing a particular job.
As I walked towards the door to open it, three knocks were heard from the other side, opening it I faced one of the less likely people to be here.
"Excuse me for disturbing you at this time." Princess Kathyln said looking at me straight in the eyes with a cold gaze.
'What the fuck id she doing here...? Oh I get it, she simply couldn't resist my rizz powers and authority, this is why she's here.' I thought to myself.
Taking this chance, I leaned on the side of the door with swift motion as I looked down, then I slowly lifted my head towards her while mewing to highlight my jawline to look sexy and attractive. "No problem Kathyln, so? Do you need something from me?"
"Yes, can you please call Ash here?" As she said that, I felt like hawk mama fell on my back as I tripped almost falling.
"Fuck..." I whispered.
"Excuse me?" Kathyln asked.
"N-no nothing, I'll go call him for ya." I replied going in the room again.
"Oi sleeping bag! Kathyln is here to see you!" I shouted.
Still inside the bed sheet, he didnt even bother to look out. "You wont get me again Meliodas! Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame o..." Kathyln's voice sounded from the door.
"Ash! Can I have a minute with you?" As he heard that, he seemed to teleport from his bed already wearing the school uniform. 'I could swear that he slept yesterday with only boxers." I thought with a slight smile.
"Well good luck with her man, I will leave now!" I said waiving my hand without looking back.
I have a fire manipulation class this morning, I usually wouldn't have gone there but since im really interested in enhancing my fire spells abilities and get more knowledge about it I ended up paricipating in the class.
While I was listening to the teacher speaking, a sureg fo disapointement washed over me, as, the things teached here are so primitive compared to what I learned myself from my experience.
"Maybe I should judt leave, right? Amaya?" I asked my pet.
"Yes Papa, this is just a waste of time. Why not go to..." As she was about to suggest her idea, I suddently felt a mana fluctuation in the atmosphere. 'Papa, I can feel someone using a spell on us.' Amaya spoke in my head.
'Yeah I can feelt it too Amaya, there is a spell being activated right now, and its a wide range spell at that, I can clearly feel that the whole school is in its range and everyone is under it but I feel nothing changing, as if its harmless.'
'The mana signature is very familiar to me yet I can't recognise who it is, can you identify who is casting it?' I asked her.
'Just like you papa, I feel like I have already encountered it but cant tell who is it.' She said.
*Sigh* 'Well there is nothing to get worked on for, its probably the director or someone from the staff putting a protective barrier around the school.' I just shrugged it off as I continued listening to the class.
After I finished, I went to walk in the halls of the school until Feyrith's voice called me from behind. "Hey! Meliodas I've been looking for you."
"Looking for me? Why is that." I asked turning around with my right hand in my pocket.
"Well, just to chat while working. You know DC tasks are pretty boring when your alone." He replied.
"Yeah your right, also classes are very boring too. I went to the fire affinity class hoping yo learn some interesting things, but everything the teacher spoke about were the basics." I complained to him.
"Haha, well it is to be expected. Those years as an adventurer you must have already mastered your magic by now." He said while laughting.
"Yeah I might just skip all classes if that is the case..." I started walking after saying that besides Feyrith, suddently I remembered that thing I felt in class so I turned my head towards him as I asked. "Oh! By the way Fey, did you feel a mana signature all around school earlier?"
"Mana signature? No I dont recall sensing any thing of that sort. It was a completely peaceful morning as a DC memeber for me." He replied.
'This is very weird, that mana signature was exceptionaly strong and not to mention its wide range, this is why I thought it was a sort of protective barrier. No one in class felt a thing, not even the teacher. Having Feyrith tell me that he didn't feel it too makes this very suspetious.'
"I'll just stop overthinking it, what a drag." I placed my hands behind my back continuing my partol.
Until I saw Ash's figure running at full speed towards me, his face full of sweat. "MELIODAS! MELIODAS!" He shouted from distance.
When he got closer I lifted both my hands to calm him. "Whoa! Whoa! Calm down Ash, what all the rush for?"
"HUFF, HUFF... Your childhood friend...! HUFFF Elizabeth is in a dangerous state, she's being hospitalized right now!" He said.
