Chapter 64: Pride is poison for the weak

Going into class, the first thing I see is the teacher throwing a ball of blue flames towards the princess Cathyln. I know that I am very late for the class because of Ash but I didn't expect to be this late.

Ash being one of the few people who can compare to me in speed had his whole body turn into lightning particals as he flashed towards Cathyln carrying her into a princess carry and took her away from the trajectory of the spell.

"Are you okay princess?" Ash displayed his rizz technqiue which left the princess in shock she simply turned her head to the other side and nodded.

While I faced the spell, lifting my hand with my palm to the front, I waited for the spell to get closer then I use my technique.

[Counter Vanish]

As I said that, the spell completely disapeared as if it wasnt casted in the first place leaving the teacher as stunned and suprised as the other students.

"What is the meaning of this? Do you realise that this kind of spell can kill a student!" I shouted angrily to him.

The teacher quickly gathered himself together and shamelessly said. "What are you talking about? I was about to cancel that spell but you showed up. I would've never hurted the princess, would I?"

Some of the student started agreeing with him since a teacher would never harm a student, I was getting really angry and as I was about to reply, Arthur's voice was heard from the seats.

"This is complete bullshit! Once this kind of spells is manifested it is impossible to cancel them."

"It's okay Arthur...!" Turning to face the teacher again, I said. "Instead of bullying the weak, why dont you try using that kind of spell against me." I looked at him menacingly.

He simply smiled mockingly. "Hoho, I would love to guide our dear DC president, let us begin then." Ash helped the princess go back to her seat.

As he said that he immedietly shot three fire strikes towards me that by infusing mana into my arms, I easily punched through them using my right arm.

"Heeeh~ Is this really the power of a teacher of our prestigious Xyrus academy? Really disapointing... Maybe you should start again as a student." I started taunting him, gaining chuckles from the students.

While the teacher had his face red from embarassement and anger, looks like hed so stupid that he even got triggered from this, perfect.

"DC president, I'll make sure you respect you teacher from now on, and by force!" He shouted, gathering mana in his arms, he summoned a blue fire ball three times bigger than the previous one.

[Blue Meteor]

As he shouted that he shot his spell illuminating the whole classroom making some even close their eyes from the light it created, and with a wicked amused smile I took grip of my dagger from Amaya and swung it.

[FULL COUNTER]

The fire ball stopped doubled in size and went back to its caster with even greater speed, and all the teacher could do was to look at it incapable of doing anything waiting for the impact.

*BOOM*

The ball exploded on his body as it burnt all of his clothes leaving his burnt black body and twisted hair fall to the ground inconscious, as the room fell into deep silence.

I slowly walked towards him and when I got nect to him I smiled asking hil. "Didnt you say you could cancel it? Why didn't you do it now huh?" I knew he was inconscious but I said those words out loud for everyone to understand that this guy is a fraud and that he was indeed going to almost kill a student.

"Next time dont play the smart guy..." Turning towards the student, I annouced. "The class has ended guys, everyone can leave!" As I said that everyone left the classroom without a single complain.

As everyone was going out, the boys came towards me while Kathyln left alongside other student. "As expected of my rival, I was going to win against that teacher but he caught me off guard." Feyrith slapped my shoulder.

"Just when did I accept being your rival... You know what? If you manage to beat this guy here then then I will acknowlege you as my rival." I pointed towards Arthur.

"Oh come on man, I dont want any headaches for now." Arthur rubbed his temples looking down.

"You dont want any headaches? Werent you the one who told the director to make me a DC instead of you asshole? Dont worry about headaches cause I will send plenty of them towards you for that." I crossed my arm, as Arthur just sighed.

"Oh you mean your brother? I spoke to him during class and I remembred him from those days in Elenoir, but dont worry, there is no way that he will be as strong as you so I will definetly defeat him." Fey stated.

"Anyways good save Meliodas, I was about to interfer but you took the right call so this makes things better." Arthur said ignoring the idiot with his hand in his pockets.

"Oh by the way did you see Lucy? I looked for her for an entire hour earlier." I nonchalantly asked Ash to change the subject.

"Apparently she was sent to the detention room by one of the disciplinary committe because she beated one of those noble kids, *sigh* she never changes huh?" Ash replied.

"Okay... So what class do you have after?" I asked.

"I have mana conductivity." Feyrith said.

"Potions making, what about ya?" Ash asked Arthur.

"Artificing." Arthur said.

"Same, but I will not be going with you unfortunatly, I cant just leave my friend there. I'll go see what is going on." I explained.

"Alright!" Ash replied.

"Kay." Arthur casually said with his hands in his pockets.

"Lets meet after school, I will show you something cool." I told them.

"Bet!" Feyrith shamelessly said.

"Who invited you?" Ash asked with a annoyed expression.
