52. Date

Alex looked at the time on his watch and stood up. It was time to go and pick Lillie up as they agreed. After that, he would take her out of the city to somewhere where they could be alone. There was still so much for Lillie to know and learn about him and his kingdom. After their dinner date, he would make sure to tell all that he could in the little time that they had.

He mind-linked Raal and Kevin to inform them that he was gone and took the cars from the driver who was waiting for him. “I will drive,” he said and the driver's eyes widened.

“Ye…yes, my king,” he said and gave the key still in disbelief that the king would be driving a car by himself. Alex took the keys ignored the weird look the driver had in his and drove off.

He drives up to Lillie’s school, stops outside, and sends her a message to inform her that he is waiting. She should be coming out anytime soon according to the time. He timed it well so they wouldn't be late.
