(Third POV)
—A few moments earlier—
Aaron had just ran into the hidden garage exit the other cars used to get the scientist out of the base. Tony was a little frustrated with how he was used for his escape, but only sighed heavily.
"Okay everyone, after the bug kid. Clint, Natasha, you two should already be in there what have you found?" Tony asked over the communicator built into his suit.
"Nothing other than a lot of weapons. The computers looked like they were wiped and coding destroyed, so that good." She said sarcastically.
"Perfect." He said lowly.
"Alright let's get moving, Tony you're with me, Thor and hulk separate, Clint and Natasha…continue moving." Steve said as they ran and flew into the garage. Hulk burst right through the doors and walls as he ran around the base.
After a while of running around Natasha and Clint came across a intersection in the base that led four direction. While this was good, the scene there was horrible.
People strung up by their intestines, others cut open, ripped to shreds and some were just decapitated. Regardless the scenery was disgusting.
They both bucked their heads back as they saw this and looked at the floor. Skeptically they walked over the floor not wanting to step on anything other than the floor.
"To think a kid did all of this in a matter of seconds." Clint said as he stepped over someone with their stomach cut open.
"Tony are you seeing this?" Natasha asked as she pressed her earpiece.
"You're on the west wing right? We're on the way." He responded.
Just as he said that a freezing fog ran down the hallway freezing everything into ice. The walls, blood, bodies, etc. Natasha and Clint felt the cold gale of air and they saw some of the wall freeze along with the temperature dropping so much they could see their breath.
Looking at each other they nodded as Clint readied his bow and put an arrow in and Natasha took out two batons as they walked down the hall slowly. The air became cooler and cooler the further they walked down the hall.
They were shivering at this point as their vision was get obscured by thick chilling fog.
"Tony, when you get here bring a heating and some hot coco." Clint said as he took out a arrow and aimed it at a door that was closed and frozen over in thick ice.
They thought it was this one, because it looks like the fog is being produced from here and it's the coldest.
"Stand back. It's about to get explosive." He said as he aimed the arrow at the door. Natasha got back as Clint fired the arrow. The moment it came in contact the arrow exploded and heated up the air a little before it immediately got cold again.
"Ok…how about this." He said taking ten arrows from his quiver. He paused before going really far back and with precise accuracy he fired all ten arrows into the ice causing a chain explosion.
Immediately they ran through the smoke and into the room. They first noticed the huge mess of different elixir looking liquids spilled all over the floor along with everything else in the room.
The next thing they noticed was the huge wall of ice had a huge crack in it. They went in skeptically not knowing if Aaron was here or not. Looking around Natasha didn't hear nor see any sign of Aaron so she sighed as she let her guard down.
"Damn it." She muttered. That's when she noticed it. Clint hasn't said a word nor made a sound. He would usually crack some joke or say something stupidly funny but she didn't even hear his footsteps when they walked in.
She noticed to late as Aaron was on the ceiling using camouflage to blind in. He shot a web on her back before webbing her up in a thick cocoon and sticking her to the roof. He also covered her mouth so she can't make noises.
She was hung up right next to Clint as he looked at her, then nodded upward and started swinging. She sighed heavily from her nose as she was left hanging.
….
(Aaron POV)
Jumping down from the ceiling as I finished webbing Natasha and Clint up I looked at the mess I made after hearing the first explosion. When I jumped up to the roof I used my webs to throw stuff everywhere. The shelf that was frozen over was still up with a few vials on them. The liquid that's on the floor was just a mix of other experimental fluids they used on my body.
'There might be time for one more vial.' Aaron thought as he shot webs on Natasha and Clint's eyes. I jumped over to the hole I punched into the ice and reached my arm in to grab a vial.
Once I felt one I just grabbed it. Reading the label it said "Acid Spider". From the name itself I knew it's uses. Immediately I threw it back as I started to fell my throat burning. The pain went away just as quickly as it came as I breathed out a hot breath.
Once that was done I expanded my senses and heard footsteps approaching from both his left and his right. I could fell the vibration through the floor and immediately I peeked my head out the door just in time to see Ironman and Captain America turn the corner.
I shot a web out to cover that path as a way to slow them down. Then I went back into the room and breathed in deeply and spit out a continuous stream of acid onto the rest of the vials.
Completely destroying them.
At the same time they both got out of the web trap in the hall and saw me spit acid from my mouth. Seeing this, they they obviously stayed cautious.
"Listen, we don't want to harm you. We're here to help. We're the Avengers, the hood guys." Steve said as he tried to calm me down. Honestly I wasn't even mad. In fact I didn't feel anything, I was just clearing my objectives.
With them now done and no one in my way there would be no reason to fight.
"Jesus." I head Tony say from his suit as he looked at Natasha and Clint. I could hear the sound of him taking pictures of them.
"Yup. That's going on a post card. Anyways it's like the walking flag said, we're here to help you. If you don't mind, I'd like to not have them as your dinner." Tony said.
I understood what he meant and let out what I'll call a "stinger" to cut them loose. I also cut the webbing around their eyes because if they just yanked it, it's very likely they'll rip the skin off of them as well.
"Thank you for your cooperation…" Steve said as he looked at me questioningly.
"Aaron." I answered.
"Gre-"
Just as he was about to talk there was a loud roar followed by the sound of something hitting into walls. That's when Hulk came sliding past the doorframe on his back.
'Did he trip?' I thought.
"I'll go handle that then." Natasha said as she ran out of the room.
"What was on those shelves you…melted?" Tony asked as he walked closer to it.
"A corrosive acid. A strong one at that. If a normal person touched this stuff it'd melt even their bone." He muttered.
"There was stuff." I answered.
"Not the teenager phase." He said as he walked out of the room. I saw that some of his suite had frost on it probably from being in here to long.
"How about we go outside? It's a little cold in here." Steve said with a laugh as he was shaking violently. Clint had already left the moment he was let down.
I nodded and we left the room. I looked around at the frozen bodies and honestly this looked like a work of art. Human art, but art nonetheless.
…
(Third POV)
When they got outside they didn't really talk about much. Other than his name, how long he'd been there and if he knows where any other bases are. All of which he gave a short and simple answer.
Afterwards Tony gave Nick a call and they had an airship on its way to their location. In this time Aaron had been thinking about his future and what he could do to acquire more power.
Firstly he needs figure out how he'd make money or what he could actually do. All he knew how to do was things related to killing and hacking.
Although he had a nice skill set he was still too young. He was ten, but only looked twelve so even then he can't get a job. It was clear as day to him what his only option was.
With a sigh he leaned back into a tree as he waited for the airship to arrive
